GlitchTip is an open-source error tracking platform that helps employees of an organisation to collect errors from their projects, accordingly. The platform is quite simple and allows employees to organise the projects and receive alerts whenever they want. Furthermore, this error tracking portal provides employees with the latest and updated features on the go. When an app reports any error, GlitchTip collects the same and puts them all in one place for the users to get a clear view. To collect error specific data from an individual app, this platform uses Sentry’s Open Source SDKs. As mentioned earlier, GlitchTip is an open-source portal. This means one can view, modify and use the code at their own convenience. This platform also allows users to run the code from their server or host it on its own. For that, a person needs to register with a valid email and password. After registering, users can select a subscription that works best for them. When it comes to simplicity, affordability and the freedom provided by open sources, GlitchTip is the right choice.
