Exceed.ai is a tool to generate qualified marketing and sales leads using AI. The AI sales assistant interacts with leads via an email or a chat-like form on the user's website. The tool can comprehend responses including out of office replies, questions, interest, and objections and then give a response accordingly. The assistant also follows up with the lead to guide them through the funnel. It qualifies leads according to the user's requirements and be handed over to human agents once the qualifying process is over. Visitors, leads, and customers can reply and respond via options provided to them by the AI assistant. The tool relies on Machine Learning to learn from each sales reps interactions to create more effective conversations. Though the Exceed platform you have a group of virtual SDRs that operate at scale across all timezones, personalizing the outreach as they go. The platform's artificial intelligence and machine learning does the heavy lifting of the lead generation and lead qualification processes, leaving the human SDRs to focus on low touch / high-value activities.
Outside of the platform, Exceed's customer service is out of this world, a true 'white-glove' experience led by Hadas and her colleagues, from initial onboarding to regular weekly / bi-weekly catch-ups nothing was too much trouble. As with the virtual SDRs the Exceed CSM team was always on hand whenever we needed them.
Adding a PDF to a message has a size restriction of 500mb, Use you can add a URL pointing to a document but sometimes you just want to add a document and 500mb can be a little restrictive. Outside of that... I wouldn't change Exceed for the World!
Think through the data you are adding to the platform, all of which can be used to assist with segmentation and personalization. Rubbish in / Rubbish out.
Our use of Exceed is to undertake cold outreach to net new leads. All leads are within our target audience but aren't necessarily know to us. We have run a program of outreach sequences to assess the virtual SDRs' capabilities to engage versus that of our actual SDRs. Given the virtual SDRs capabilities to process and manage volume. the virtual SDRs constantly met or outperformed the actual SDR.
So much so that we have modified our entire outreach strategy, leaving the virtual SDRs to perform the mass tasks, with the physical SDRs focused on small net fishing tactics.
I appreciate the support from the team at Exceed.AI. My customer success contact, Hadas, reviews my account and performance bi-weekly to make sure that I am getting the best use of their product. Unlike most technology vendors, this is not a "sign the agreement and you're on your own" type of arrangement. My business relies heavily on customer engagement and I tend to hold our partners to the same degree of excellence that we exhibit. Exceed.AI has more than surpassed my expectations.
I would like to see more native integrations, however my company uses more proprietary and smaller technologies that it likely doesn't make sense to natively have integrations for. There is always a solution, though.
This solution works as promised, and the customer support is exceptional.
We are able to further extend our follow up reach and frequency with potential customers we may have otherwise missed. I have realized the benefit to having a "safety net" for our CRM. This allows us to improve our customer engagement in a way we were unable to without this technology.
Exceed is excellent at augmenting the work that real sales people do to book qualifying meetings with an AI platform that just works. It helps with a variety of different use cases where repetitive work is required to get a prospect to a meeting with a sales person and the sales team loves it when a meeting from Exceed shows up on their calendar.
The AI was a little unsettling at first but once we became accustomed to it we started referring to virtual assistants as real people.
Exceed is a good product and the Exceed team is a pleasure to do business with, they really want their customers to be successful with the product.
We are using Exceed for recycling and remarketing leads as well as cold sales. The benefit is more pipeline being generated with little effort on behalf of our business development team. The pipeline is 100% incremental and Exceed is easily paying for itself.
The AI is really strong, and the leads don’t realise it's not a human. The virtual assistants can interact with and qualify leads and free up more selling time for our clients’ sales teams.
I like that it integrates with all of the major 3rd party sales and marketing platforms. Exceed also updates the CRM whenever a lead status changes such as qualified, meeting set, contact later or when a lead leaves the company.
The chat and email sequences are highly customisable. For instance, we can create an email sequence to follow up with abandoned chats or to uncover hidden gems by engaging leads in the CRM. Exceed uses a nifty Calendly-like scheduler to book meetings for qualified leads with the sales reps.
I wish they had a native mobile app. The responsive UI does the trick but some of the reports are not accessible from the web version.
Use your best sales emails for the Exceed email templates. Better yet, get your sales team involved.

Obviously exceed is a fantastic tech tool, but I think the thing that has been most remarkable is how supportive and hands-on they've been when it comes to supporting our success with the tool. I really appreciate how active they've been in making sure that we're getting the most of the tool!
It would be great if we could use their calendar/meeting scheduler outside the system, but it still works well for our purposes.
Be sure that you have the time and energy to devote to creating your email campaigns upfront. After that first heavy lift, things go really smoothly, and you'll be shocked at home many of your emails get a response.
We were able to automate some of our SDR and BDR outreach, and replace our chat tool with something far more automated.
I like the fact that technology keeps learning. It seems to get better and better over time, their product team also listens to our feedback requests.
I dislike spending money on software in general since this is a new space, It's not the easiest to set up you need to have some experience with inbound lead follow up.
Make sure you are generating enough inbound leads to make sure to come on.
Mainly for our customers that have amounts of inbound leads that need to be followed up with. We noticed a 15% increase in MQL - SQL conversation for accounts we deployed Exceed.ai with.
The results. Less effort on sifting through initial inbound and outbound interactions, allows for more quality time spent further down the funnel.
Like any technology, if you don't put in the time initially to set it up correctly you won't bear the fruits in the long run.
