Inspiring Public Projects and a Polished JS/CSS/HTML Interface

What do you like best about CodePen?

I really like the public projects and the interface being divided into JS/CSS/HTML, as well as the overall UX/UI. The trending projects and the challenges are also great. All the features on the platform make it amazing to see other people’s work, get inspired, and improve your own.

What do you dislike about CodePen?

There isn’t a thing I dislike at this point.

What problems is CodePen solving and how is that benefiting you?

Having a platform where you can see other people’s work is amazing, especially when you’re in a creative block. It helps me discover new ways to use CSS/JS, and it also shows me how much more I still need to learn.

What do you like best about CodePen?

Easy to login and sign up. The best part is that it is very simple and yet easy to host mini projects or code samples and share them on community platforms like twitter, unlike github, codepen allows simple and easy hosting of code samples and live editing to anyone viewing code snippet.

What do you dislike about CodePen?

CodePen stands out when it comes to it's use in freelance community showcasing personal projects and code samples, fast deployements, so overall there is nothing much to dislike!

CodePen is one of the best online IDE for web development.

What do you like best about CodePen?

In CodePen can create different pens for my work. Actually, Pen means project or work, In that pen, they have provided HTML, CSS, and JAVASCRIPT sections for code. Also, CodePen provides vue.js and flutter for a pen. Also, after creating a pen I can share it with your friends, and I have also added some projects in my resume for the showcase.

What do you dislike about CodePen?

CodePen is providing everything that I needed, most of my work is in the MERN stack. In this stack React js is taking the main part and CodePen is not providing React Js. Yes But I can manage it by writing react code in the javascript section, that's not easy but I have to manage. I'm waiting for React js pen in CodePen

Recommendations to others considering CodePen?

I advise all web developers to use CodePen because CodePen provides everything that web developers need. In fact, you don't need to open IDE and browser both at the same time. Also, we can create a project and collection of multiple Pens.

What problems is CodePen solving and how is that benefiting you?

I'm from a rural area, so the main problem is the network. Actually, the Network is working fine but limited. And In the React project, I have to download all packages that are needed for projects. Usually, those packages take my one-day internet data. So I prefer to use an online IDE, In that IDE I don't need to use my internet for downloading packages.

What do you like best about CodePen?

Its rendering speed and user interface are quick and simple. Codepen has an incredible community with many imaginative ideas.

What do you dislike about CodePen?

The one issue i have faced with codepen is that after 5000-10000 lines of codes , it become really slow and laggy.

What problems is CodePen solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use codepen on daily basis to write complex codes and to test and debug them . We incoporate test scripts which helps in collaborting with testers . The amazing community supports also helps us in solving our issues faster.

An easy way to learn

What do you like best about CodePen?

It's very independent to work with. It helps you play with HTML C C S and java scripting, and it doesn't affect your computer's main phardware or software at all. It can be really fun whether from a basic learner all the way up to advance.

What do you dislike about CodePen?

The fact of just how independent it is oftentimes. You do have to navigate throughsoftware or applications to figure out whether or not you're doing something right? One I would recommend is linkedin.

What problems is CodePen solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's helping me further advance in my studies of coding and data analytics, as well as developing a stronger skills in data science.

Easy to use and share

What do you like best about CodePen?

I love that it's quick to setup and customize to your individual needs. It's also easy to share your pens with others for collaboration.

What do you dislike about CodePen?

Occasionally a more fringe framework won't be available.

It makes it easy to use a coding environment on the go without needing to set up the entire thing yourself on one machine.

What do you like best about CodePen?

CodePen provides a very easy to use interface to code and render web development projects. It is a wonderful way to code something quickly, such as proof of concepts or algorthims, which you can then save, edit, and share with your team.

What do you dislike about CodePen?

Some of the important settings, such as those needed to import other packages or scripts to run with your project, can be a little hard to find.

What problems is CodePen solving and how is that benefiting you?

CodePen provides me an easy to use, quick, collaborative editor for small coding projects and proof of concepts. I enjoy using it both for my professional and personal coding.
