PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

All teams of ClubExpress are working well together to provide us with great customer experience. Their sales team has been very attentive to our organization’s needs and are providing ways to ensure that those are met. Their dev team worked with us to achieve our vision of a visually-appealing website. Their support team is highly responsive and has a very good understanding of how their product works and how issues can be fixed. The system itself comes with a comprehensive and up-to-date user manual. It is also equipped with both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online integrations. They offer free trial versions; details of which will be made available to you upon call with their sales team.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

We have been using ClubExpress for a long time now and so far our experience with them has been very satisfactory. There is nothing I can think of to dislike.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We rely on ClubExpress as our ASM provider since transitioning from professional to volunteer management. With this platform, we are able to communicate better with more than a thousand members. This has helped us provide better education among the people in our organization and devise a strategy for growing our membership.

What are the best aspects of this product?

ClubExpress continues to demonstrate that they have their customer's best interest in mind each time they release a new version. Each added feature comes with a video tutorial to help users understand how it works. The system is generally easy to navigate and use, and if this is not true for all users, their support team is always ready to assist. To top it all, this product is available for a very low price.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I hope there is a way to search through their tutorials more easily.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I appreciate how helpful and accommodating their support team is whenever we have concerns with regard to product use. I also really like how their dev team is working to improve this product’s flexibility. Only recently they added another events feature.

PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

ClubExpress helps us manage all the administrative functions that come with being an education provider. We use it for member registration, payment tracking, and class enrollment. The only issue that we had while using this so far was its lack of capability to handle a waitlist for full classes. CE’s team informed us that this will soon cease to be a problem as they will add this functionality in the next version. We highly appreciate the work that they do to improve their product and be able to cater to all of our club needs.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

There was a time when we cannot download reports to our desired format. This is no longer an issue since they added custom report features.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

ClubExpress helped save a lot of our time by automating membership tracking and class registrations.

What are the best aspects of this product?

ClubExpress is a cost-friendly and effective solution for membership management. It has a lot of great features that enable users to communicate with each other better and efficiently manage websites and membership renewals.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I have used similar products before that cater to much larger organizations and I can say that ClubExpress is the perfect match for small and medium-sized nonprofits. It offers the same set of features for a much lower price.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We used to manage our website, membership, finance, and communications with different platforms. ClubExpress provided a way for all these to come together so it is now easier to oversee everything and perform management tasks more efficiently.

What are the best aspects of this product?

The performance of CE’s team has been outstanding from the onset. They worked through a huge number of postings and other materials, developed scripts, and created an aesthetically pleasing website for us.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

There is nothing I can say I dislike about the platform. There were recent improvements that we need some time to get used to, but other than that this is working really well for us.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

CE helps us work more efficiently. We rely on it for finance and membership management and email chat group moderation.

What are the best aspects of this product?

ClubExpress equips us with the tools necessary in order to more effectively manage our finance and memberships.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I hope they will work on the version of their platform on the iPad and make it as outstanding as the ones for PC and laptop.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

ClubExpress is a reliable solution for membership and financial management. It enables us to maintain directories, keep membership information, generate reports, send emails in bulk, collect dues, tracks payments, and manage finances. Members have direct access and control over the majority of their information which results in less management workload for us.

What are the best aspects of this product?

ClubExpress has a simple and well-designed UI design. It allows you to make necessary changes to the website easily.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I would like this platform better if they would give users more options for customizing templates.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We create and host our website with ClubExpress. It used to take us a while to update our website. Thanks to this platform, we are now able to perform this task more efficiently.

What do you like best?

ClubExpress has the best support I have ever experienced. Their support engineers are pleasant and understand the ClubExpress system. There is seldom a long telephone hold. This may be because of their 990 page very complete and searchable User/Admin Manual, which is frequently updated.

The sales team understands our needs and recommends solutions based on how others use their system. The development team helped us create an attractive user-friendly website.

They are the only Association Management system that I know of that interfaces with both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online

The opportunity to open a free trial account. Call the ClubExpress sales team and they will explain how the trial account works.

What do you dislike?

I cannot think of anything and we have been using ClubExpress for over a year.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Strongly suggest you go for it.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are a 20-year-old trade association with 1,500 members, that is recently being managed by unpaid volunteers. For the majority of our 20 years we were managed by a professional management company using a Microsoft Access database. Our data was moved to a propriety database, of which our association was the only user and one developer causing our management company to resign. Our Board recognized that this was a high-risk situation and researched the market for a year looking for a new association management system (ASM). We converted to ClubExpress in late 2018.

We now have much improved communication with our members and can both advocate and educate members better than ever.

ClubExpress has helped us develop a plan to grow our individual membership, which we believe, by more than 10x.

What do you like best?

User friendly design and technology combined with great support.

What do you dislike?

I am sure there must be a downside but I am hard pressed to think of one.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

There is no other option so perfectly tailored to the needs of a Village organization run by volunteers with a wide variety of computer literacy.

We use ClubExpress to run our business. We are an all volunteer Village providing services to enable elderly to stay comfortably in their homes as long as possible.

What do you like best?

This system makes membership management and accounting much better than conventional spreadsheets and documents. A very well done club management software set.

What do you dislike?

Very usable overall and easy to use but is limited when using an iPad for administrative functions, editing and some other functions. A laptop or Pc desktop always works better!

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Very pleased with overall capability, support and cost of this system for use in social clubs, basic organizations and situations where financial management is needed!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Improved membership management by having the members managing most of their own information. Being able to run membership reports, directories and other membership information helps maintain a good membership baseline. Similar capabilities for financial management allow for good club funds management, dues collections and financial tracking. Mass emails for events and club information are simple and effective using the emailing capabilities!
