What do you like best about Camtasia?I like being able to break out Camtasia with Audiate. The AI ingestion is fantastic. After finding online training, I found working in both modules very intuitive. I have had zero issues with performance. I have used this to create professional quality videos so the ROI is great.What do you dislike about Camtasia?My biggest challenge is that I'm not in it enough to remember what to do each time. It's a capable, accessible editing tool that allows me to focus more on creating quality content and less on figuring out the software.What do you dislike about Camtasia?I haven't encountered any significant drawbacks in my experience with Camtasia. Occasionally, I need to look up how to use an unfamiliar feature, but the readily available tutorials and support resources make that a minor inconvenience rather than a frustration.What problems is Camtasia solving and how is that benefiting you?Before switching to Camtasia, I was using another video editing tool that was cumbersome, time-consuming, and often frustrating. Even the simplest features could behave unpredictably, sometimes to the point that I'd abandon a project altogether. Video isn't essential to our communications strategy, but it adds considerable value to our social media presence. Camtasia has removed much of that friction, making video production practical and enjoyable. We're now incorporating more video into our content, and we're seeing growth on Instagram as a result. Camtasia hasn't just made editing easier—it's made video a more consistent part of our marketing efforts.

It does everything I need, and it makes getting things done simple and straightforward.What do you dislike about Camtasia?Nothing to dislike—this app pretty much does everything I need. What do you like best about Camtasia?I love how easy Camtasia is to use, which makes creating demonstration videos simple even though I'm not a video professional. I appreciate its great editing tools, especially how easy it is to cut out ums, ahs, and pauses, and that the remaining video and audio slide over automatically, so I don't have to manually adjust them. Recording video is straightforward, and I often use the tool to add audio afterward. The initial setup was also very easy; I just download a single file, click install, and it's all set up. These features help me make the videos I need for my work, and I often recommend Camtasia to others.What do you dislike about Camtasia?Sometimes the documentation is not up to date with the latest release. Additionally, there are known bugs, which are not mentioned in the documentation.What problems is Camtasia solving and how is that benefiting you?Camtasia lets me easily create demonstration videos for technical audiences without being a video professional. The simple interface and editing tools save time by letting me quickly edit out mistakes and unwanted parts. I just record, edit, and generate the video I need.

What do you like best about Camtasia?Camtasia has so many additional features since my last review but I continue to use the original version to screen capture for my YouTube channel and work!What do you dislike about Camtasia?I see the original starter version is $39/yr but everything you create is watermarked. However, the plan I use (Essentials) is now $180. So the price has increased to a point where I would not pay for an upgrade. If I am just screen capturing (which BTW does not work on some streaming services like Apple, Paramount+, etc.), I use the Windows Snipping tool. I appreciate the built-in templates and elements that help me create impressive video effects fast. The design process in Camtasia is really easy. Since we are in a fast-paced organization, the speed and ease of use are really beneficial. There are also many assets available to use, which I find valuable. What do you like best about Camtasia?I use Audiate and am very satisfied with it because it allows me to quickly edit audio: cutting out important paragraphs, exporting important statements/sections. It's great that I have the waveform at the same time to make fine adjustments. Compared to other programs, like Adobe Podcast for example, this is great because there, sounds were often cut off and I have no control over it.What do you dislike about Camtasia?The AI voices sound relatively monotonous, and the avatars aren't that great either, but they help when you want to quickly present something. Suggestion for improvement: to be able to invite someone to work on a project together.What problems is Camtasia solving and how is that benefiting you?I have to edit audio for a podcast-like recording. Audiate saves me a lot of time by allowing text-based editing.
