BetterCloud Simplifies External Sharing Permissions with Responsive Support

What do you like best about BetterCloud?

Bettercloud has been most useful for us to minimise the amount of external sharing our users have been doing. We like to allow external sharing, but often these are temporary and users forget to remove the permissions. Bettercloud is perfect for helping our users to remove these permissions or extend the permissions if that is needed. Things work well from the admin side and customer support has been responsive in helping and fixing things for us.

What do you dislike about BetterCloud?

I'm a bit nervous about the continual change of ownership. Often this results in product deterioration.

What problems is BetterCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

Bettercloud helps our users to be more secure with their external sharing permissions.

Streamlined G Suite Management with Intuitive Interface

What do you like best about BetterCloud?

I use BetterCloud for G Suite management, and I find it super easy and very intuitive. I like new user creation with automatic workflows. Document security and limiting super admin access to our Google enterprise accounts are valuable features for me. I appreciate being able to delegate email accounts easily.

What do you dislike about BetterCloud?

Some Google features are limited due to Google API, such as being unable to change folder ownership.

It’s very helpful for creating workflows, such as onboarding, offboarding, and similar processes.

I’m not able to delegate emails in incognito mode.

We can audit folders and files very easily, and the process is straightforward.

Automated Workflow Solution with Seamless Integration

What do you like best about BetterCloud?

I appreciate that BetterCloud provides really powerful tools to automate and build workflows to handle various processes. It allows us to manage Gmail signatures for Google Workspace, ensuring all our signatures are standard and look professional across the organization. I also like how it lets us view and access data on things like files and folders, and alerts us when someone shares something externally, which is super useful for protecting private information. BetterCloud's capabilities make managing our systems much more streamlined.

What do you dislike about BetterCloud?

I have a few issues with BetterCloud, mainly around integrations. There are some platforms we use that don't have an integration with BetterCloud. Also, some of the integrations we do have lack the full functionality we wish was available; certain functions and features we would like to use don't exist yet. I will say however that every time I have mentioned a gap in functionality to the BetterCloud team they are quick to document it and send the recommendation to their internal team to be considered for a future product release.

I use BetterCloud to automate workflows for onboarding and offboarding tasks, which saves time for the IT department. It notifies the relevant parties and handles various user account tasks seamlessly.

BetterCloud Is Amazing!

What do you like best about BetterCloud?

Every time I have to use better cloud to retrieve emails from a former employee and delegate access to another employee it’s very intuitive for the end user I love better cloud keep up the great work!!

What do you dislike about BetterCloud?

Absolutely nothing the ui is very nice and users can navigate very well

What problems is BetterCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

The ability to quickly and seamlessly delegate mailboxes, and manage signatures and journal emails.

Manage 90% of Google Workspace with BetterCloud

What do you like best about BetterCloud?

I can manage most of my settings for Google workspace (GSuite) with Better cloud. Allows me to assign tasks to some team members that I would not want to give access to the Google Admin Console. A good tool for bulk updates. Currently, we are not using it for any other SAAS products but like the fact that we could. Deprovisioning workflow is also immensely beneficial.

What do you dislike about BetterCloud?

As a smaller company and only using it for Google Workspace, it is a higher cost than I would prefer.

Recommendations to others considering BetterCloud?

Provisioning and de-provisioning of users is the most significant benefit for our use. I have found that the audit tracking of who made changes is also beneficial.

What problems is BetterCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

We also use BetterCloud for all google group management. A unique use of Google groups and how BC makes it easier: Windows PCs require creating an MS email account. We can not set up a new PC if we do not know the user's login, and since we do not use MS cloud or 360, we did not see the benefit. We create a Google group using the SN of the PC and use the group email as the email address for that PC MS account. BetterCloud makes this easy because we can bulk-create these google group/ email addresses with a spreadsheet.

BetterCloud makes onboarding/off boarding seamless.

What do you like best about BetterCloud?

I appreciate the ability to bulk-create and update accounts, which really streamlines my workflow. The customizable workflows for onboarding, offboarding, and managing learner accounts are also excellent, as they help ensure that no important steps are overlooked. Recently, I started using it to assist with Google Drive audits and have found it very helpful—there are fewer steps involved compared to using Google alone.

What do you dislike about BetterCloud?

After doing some more training I haven't found anything that really makes Bettercloud less useful.

What problems is BetterCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

The manual creation of accounts and workflows, BetterCloud has allowed us to automate all of that. BetterCloud has allowed us to save time. It also helps us see how users are using their accounts and what we can improve.
