What is Pointcarre Tufting and how does it work?
Pointcarre Tuft is a professional tufting and carpet design software covering wall-to-wall carpet, carpet tiles and rugs, from the first idea to the tufting machine. Developed to replace the discontinued APSO software, it is the best modern alternative for carpet manufacturers who need an up-to-date, fully supported solution. The module includes a complete 3D yarn library, expandable with YarnMaker to create your own yarns, gauge control from 1/10th to 5/64th, single and double needle bars, multiple pile heights, cut and loop pile, and a real-time 3D preview. Integrated Tiling tools let designers build carpet tile displays in minutes with photorealistic previews in real environments. As the first textile CAD to embed AI, Pointcarre generates patterns, creates seamless repeats and enhances resolution in a few clicks. Pantone, Archroma and ColorCSI libraries are included free. Export formats include .PCX, .OTF, .BMP and .PAT, compatible with CMC, Tuftco, Vandewiele and Modra machines.
