Wrike Centralizes Requests, Tasks, Timesheets, and Approvals with Ease
What do you like best about Wrike?
What I like best about Wrike is its ability to centralize multiple business processes in one platform. We use Wrike to raise and track requests, manage tasks, log timesheets, and handle approval workflows efficiently. It works well for IT tickets, HR tickets, leave approvals, and file management, which helps reduce email dependency and improves transparency. The approval flows and task tracking make it easy to monitor progress, accountability, and timelines across teams
What do you dislike about Wrike?
One drawback of Wrike is that it can feel complex for new users. The number of features and configuration options means there is a learning curve, especially for users who only need basic task or ticket management. Some workflows and reports also require careful setup to get the best results. Additionally, certain advanced features are locked behind higher-tier plans, which can limit flexibility for smaller teams.
What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wrike centralizes requests, tasks, approvals, and timesheets in one platform. It reduces email dependency, improves visibility and tracking, and ensures faster approvals for IT, HR, and operational requests, which increases overall efficiency and accountability.

Truly Cross-Functional Tool for Team Management, Internal and External Reviews
What do you like best about Wrike?
I like the visual layout which is similar to other brand-name PM software products I have used throughout my career (I find Wrike to be a huge improvement to Basecamp, kind of like Trello in the array of layouts you can use, and really similar visually/functionally to ClickUp and Teamwork). Wrike was really easy to pick up and learn when I started this role.
What do you dislike about Wrike?
I don't love the email notification function; as the Account Lead/Project Manager for my projects, I seem to get a lot of Wrike-related emails, more than I could ever read in one lifetime and it's not immediately clear how to turn them off for certain tasks or actions. Maybe I just haven't had enough free time to explore my settings.
Recommendations to others considering Wrike?
On the day-to-day, Wrike helps facilitate creative updates and reviews while providing a useful record (paper trail) of what happened on projects. It works MUCH better than email for tracking long-term projects and document versions, especially those with multiple rounds of editing and review.

Flexible Workflows, but Steep Learning Curve
What do you like best about Wrike?
I am in love with Wrike's request forms mostly; we really have an amazing time dedicating time, structure, or structuring our ideas in a way that makes sense to simplify the intake of projects. I also like that Wrike is super flexible, allowing each team to organize their projects and ideas in their own way. It lets us work within spaces, folders, projects, tasks – you name it. With at least 10 different teams working actively in Wrike, we've been able to organize them effectively. I have been really enjoying the AI part lately, as it helps me find information quicker by tracking down meeting notes for specific projects. Lastly, I really enjoy the dashboards, which people often ask for help to create because they allow teams to see their own work and work submitted to other teams.
What do you dislike about Wrike?
One of the main things that people complain about is that it's super complex at the start. Since it's so flexible, I think it's a little bit hard to understand what's the right way of using it. It's not as user-friendly from the start. I would love to have more follow-up questions in the request forms because right now, we only have one follow-up question, which complicates things as it forces us to create a new page for more specific questions. I think the user experience in the mobile version is not amazing. There's room for improvement, although it's getting better. Also, I'd like the availability to select if it's going to be a regular user or a collaborator directly when I get a submission to add a new user from my mobile version. The request forms don't allow separating tasks from projects, leading us to decide after the submission whether something is a project or a task.
What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wrike helps us organize all the work at the company and standardize processes. It creates visibility across teams and streamlines reporting and progress tracking, even with teams having specific needs using blueprints.

Powerful Project Management with Advanced AI and Learning Curve
What do you like best about Wrike?
Wrike is a very good project management tool that we love in our workplace for its AI features. The tool is overall good, and it helps solve lots of communication gaps. Instead of using chat, I can use the comments section. I love the out-of-the-box features and the new AI features. Creating subtasks immediately after some tasks and then adding AI-enabled comments is pretty good.
What do you dislike about Wrike?
Sometimes some features seem to be advanced, and we take time to learn it. Also, it could be a little bit more fast and efficient.
What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wrike helps solve communication gaps with its comments feature and offers AI capabilities, enhancing task management and project handling.

Couldn't live without it!
What do you like best about Wrike?
It's easy to use and allows us to stay on top of projects. I love the dashboard feature, and working within the projects is straightforward. Our company switched from a competitor, and Wrike was definitely the better choice. I don't see how companies could stay on top of projects without it!
What do you dislike about Wrike?
I wish the request forms were more built out and easier to create. Dating tasks and subtasks can be confusing on the dashboard view when working with a date range. I also find sorting projects from oldest to newest to not always work the way I think it should.
What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small internal group that handles the marketing of over 700 branches at our company. These tasks range from things like grand openings, customer events, product promotions, large fundraising concerts, trade shows, etc. We could never keep track of all of the tasks that our design, digital, and field teams would have to manage without Wrike. It keeps us organized and is a great way to refer back to past projects as well. The blueprints are so useful as some of the incoming requests are identical with different details. We also utilize the request forms daily.

Wrike Centralizes Tasks, Projects, and Files Into One Source of Truth
What do you like best about Wrike?
Wrike lets you centralize your tasks, projects, calendars, and files so there’s one source of truth instead of scattered email threads or spreadsheets. That means less confusion about what’s due, who’s doing what, and where things stand.
What do you dislike about Wrike?
Wrike is not intuitive at the start and you might need days and even training sessions before your team feels comfortable using it well.
What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?
Without a project management tool, it’s hard to see what’s running on time or falling behind. Wrike provides customizable dashboards and real-time views like Gantt charts, boards, calendars, and tables so you can spot issues before they become big problems and adjust quickly. This is very helpful especially when you work with off-shore teams.

Customizable and Streamlined Project Management
What do you like best about Wrike?
I love how customizable Wrike is. It offers different project level views and reporting dashboards, and all the functions it can perform are really great. It keeps all of our projects organized in one platform and makes collaborating easy and streamlined.
What do you dislike about Wrike?
I can't see the last time a blueprint was launched or the frequency that it has been used. I would love this feature to be added. Transferring all of our blueprints during the initial setup was a pain. The training was kind of long, but it was necessary.
What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wrike keeps our projects organized in one platform, making collaboration easy and streamlined.

Powerful Project Organization with Forms, Custom Fields, and Automation
What do you like best about Wrike?
I can organize projects and tasks so nothing gets lost or forgotten. Forms, custom item types, custom fields, folders, and automation all help me keep my team organized, aligned, and working efficiently.
What do you dislike about Wrike?
I dislike that, since I’m only a space administrator, I can’t customize my default workflow or task type. Those changes can only be made at the admin level. I also dislike that I can’t create the blueprint automations I need. In addition, I’d like the ability to plug in a standard “your project is closed” message when I complete an intake form for a project.
What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wrike helps solve the challenge of tracking and completing, on time, the ever-increasing amount of work tied to marketing campaigns, communications, and ongoing deliverables. It benefits me by giving management a full view of what’s being worked on, the planned completion dates, and clear progress tracking, while also enabling the PMs to stay on top of the many tasks in flight.

A Comprehensive Marketing Management Lifesaver
What do you like best about Wrike?
I really appreciate the ability to edit information in Wrike, whether it's from a copy perspective or leaving comments on a design. This is a crucial part for me and my content team. Another great feature is the ability to email folks who don't use Wrike so they can get everything they need, review and all of that good stuff in a timely manner. We don't have to do things outside an email and then import it; it's all done automatically.
What do you dislike about Wrike?
I do wish that they had a feature that you automatically mark things. I think some of the requirements for the fields could be better if we could have mandatory fields, like department fields. As well, some of the automations could be a little more well-rounded to serve our group.
What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wrike keeps our management and projects in check, organizes timelines better than email, consolidates everything into one platform, and lets us review projects directly within the app.
