Which states does Waivr support?

Waivr generates state-specific lien waiver forms for all 12 statutory states: Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming.

Do subcontractors need an account to sign?

No. Subcontractors receive a secure signing link via email and can sign directly from their browser on any device with no account or download required.

How long does it take a subcontractor to sign a waiver?

Most subcontractors complete the signing process in under a minute from any device including their phone on the job site.

What types of lien waivers does Waivr generate?

Waivr generates all four waiver types: conditional progress, unconditional progress, conditional final, and unconditional final.

Are the e-signatures legally binding?

Yes. Waivr's e-signatures are designed to comply with the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN) and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA). Each signature captures a timestamp and IP address creating a complete audit trail.

Is Waivr compliant with state statutory form requirements?

Yes. In all 12 statutory states Waivr generates the correct state-mandated form automatically based on the project location.

How does Waivr handle partial payments and disputed amounts?

Waivr allows you to generate a waiver for any specific dollar amount giving you full control over exactly what lien rights are being released with each payment.

Can I send reminders to subcontractors who haven't signed?

Yes. Waivr automatically sends follow-up reminder emails to subcontractors who have not yet signed their waiver at 3, 7, and 14 days after the initial request. Reminder emails escalate in tone, friendly for early reminders and more urgent for later ones. You can also send a manual reminder at any time directly from your dashboard.

How long are documents stored?

All signed waivers and documents are stored securely in your Waivr account and accessible at any time. Documents are retained for up to seven years following account termination.

Can I download signed waivers as PDFs?

Yes. All completed signed waivers can be downloaded as PDFs directly from your compliance dashboard at any time.

Does Waivr offer a free trial?

Yes. Pro and Enterprise plans include a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. The Starter plan is pay upfront with no trial period.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There are no contracts. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings and your access continues through the end of your current billing period.

How many users can I add to my account?

All Waivr plans are flat-rate per company not per user. One subscription covers your entire team regardless of how many people need access.

What happens when I reach my project limit on Starter?

Once you reach 5 active projects or 25 subcontractors you will need to upgrade to Pro to continue creating waivers. Waivr will notify you before you hit your limit.

Is my data secure?

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit over HTTPS and at rest in our database. Payment processing is handled exclusively by Stripe which maintains PCI DSS compliance. Subcontractor signing links are unique tokenized URLs that cannot be guessed or reused.

Does Waivr integrate with QuickBooks?

QuickBooks integration is currently on our roadmap. Enterprise customers can contact us directly to discuss custom integration options in the meantime.

What payment methods does Waivr accept?

Waivr accepts all major credit cards and ACH bank transfers through Stripe. Annual plans are available at a 20% discount.

Does Waivr offer refunds?

Waivr does not offer refunds for unused portions of any billing period. Pro and Enterprise plans include a 14-day free trial so you can evaluate the product before committing.

How do I get started?
