Vyond Reviews

There are a few things about Vyond that I really love. First, once you set a backdrop for a video, you can save it as a template and reuse it next time. This is especially helpful when I’m creating videos that need to consistently reflect the brand.

Second, the fact that I can now provide a topic or a script and Vyond can create videos from it is really awesome.

Some of my favorite things about Vyond include its ease of use, the number of customizable features available to me, and the language translation/closed-captioning functionality.

I think one downside that comes to mind is the (somewhat) lack of support articles available to search for when I get stuck in development.

Vyond is helping me produce video content in short-format that I use for microlearning courses. The ability to create animated videos with speed has been a major win for my team and clients that I serve.

Vyond makes it easier to create animated videos without needing advanced animation skills. I like that I can combine scenes, characters, and voiceovers in one place, which helps turn ideas into clear visual presentations much faster.

Some projects still require a little manual fine-tuning to get the timing and animations exactly right. I would also like to see more flexibility in customizing animations and additional asset options.

Vyond helps explain ideas that are difficult to communicate with text alone. Instead of spending time creating animations from scratch, I can build visual content more efficiently, making presentations and training materials easier to understand and more engaging.

It is a very unique application that allows the user to create videos of both animation and real images and avatars to explain, advertise, inform or train.

To get the best AI voices and avatars you are required to purchase the more expensive subscriptions.

It has become my primary source for creating training or informational content because it turns technical or difficult to explain information into easier to understand videos that appeal to the viewer.

Vyond holds my hand and helps me create videos even if I have no prior video-creation experience. It has helped us to offer training to our learners in an engaging and easy-to-understand format.

I wish I could more easily preview a video in full screen while I am working in the video.

Vyond has helped us to create videos for use in our company's LMS. Previously, all of our content was text-based. This has allowed us to present our content in a more engaging manner, as well as create opportunities for our learners to practice while watching a video.

Its so quick at creating engaging videos, they are continually updating with new features, have a great help library and support and now recently have an active community.

It is expensive and you have to pay more if you want all the features. The asset libraries are large but alot of the time I have to create my own graphic elements and import. Alot of the props lack animated versions.

Creation of social media videos, quickly. We initially purchased for one project but have since found more departments are requesting it be used in their work.

I appreciate Vyond's versatility with character creation, props, and animations. There are so many options, and they keep adding more frequently. The help guides are very clear, and when I need assistance, the support team is fast and helpful. I also found the initial setup to be very easy. I had a clear walkthrough with a representative and could figure most things out on my own.

Not being able to easily organize my assets can be a small pain at times. It would be nice to have personal customizable folders in every area, especially uploads.

I use Vyond to create interesting and engaging content that helps learners retain critical information through strong visual examples of real scenarios.

Shortens the duration required to create animations that would usually take weeks. Also, the text to speech makes creating instructional videos a lot easier.

Does not have in-betweens, that is it causes jarring jerks when moving from one action to another. Does not allow us to combine two actions. Suppose I want my character to hold a tray with medicines on it while walking. I can't do that.

We sometimes receive video requests with very short turnaround times.

I like using Vyond for building videos from scratch and using Vyond Go to create fast videos for delivering bite-size information. I also appreciate the ability to choose between human avatars and animated ones. This feature impacts the effectiveness of my videos significantly, as animated avatars are fun and playful, helping better absorb information during long videos, e-learnings, and training starters. Human avatars are more instructive and ideal for customers or official information management. I love transforming simple presentations into movies as visual aids are incredibly helpful in delivering information through my imagination. Additionally, the ease of starting with Vyond was notable once the account was created.

I love the text/image to video clip feature, but it is a bit short in duration, and I can't give the generated product any movement of my own. 5 seconds of video clips is too short, and you need to create more than one to be used in a video. It is also a 'locked' outcome, and I wish to have more control.

I use Vyond for preparing training materials and it's great for reducing time waste and making engaging content. It lets me transform presentations into movies using my imagination. Vyond Go speeds up work and supports quick editing.

The AI video generator is a huge time saver! We use a lot of dialogue reenactments / scenarios for training our staff and the "conversation" and script features within the AI tool are very helpful. I still make edits to them in the full editing mode, but the amount of time I save over starting from scratch is invaluable.

The UX experience within the editing mode is still helpful.

I would just recommend pushing the AI capabilities even further and improving the voices on the Professional tier
