Spark Hire is a simple and sophisticated video interview software that makes the process of hiring easier. It comes with every feature that you would require in a video interviewing platform. You can gain more intuition on aspirants within a few minutes with the help of self-record video answers submitted by the candidates to your interview questions. You can generate text or video-based queries, control the number of allowed takes, restrict maximum answer length and also limit think-time. Moreover, you can take real-time interview of the candidates no matter how far they are located and also record the interview in case you need to refer to them in the future. What do you like best?

Spark Hire has been a great asset to eAssist Dental Billing Solutions. It is very user friendly and easy to navigate. It is simple to create new videos of questions. All icons have a label that appears, which makes is easy to see what next step you need. eAssist uses this platform as the final interview prior to applicants moving forward in the hiring process- with the ease of sending an Advanced Link to the Hiring Panel we have, they seamlessly receive the link to click and view the interview themselves on their timeline. It allows for us to have MANY interviews completed within a short time frame - which helps match the growth of the company.

What do you dislike?

My only complaint is not being able to download multiple interviews at a time, or than that I have none!

Recommendations to others considering the product:

It's a great tool to implement when you have the applicant load, but not the man power to complete those interviews!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are solving the problem of completing massive amounts of interviews without using the "man power" of other people taking their time to interview the applicants. With 100s of applicants and a team of 6 - to have the amount of day time hours to complete the interviews would not be possible without Spark Hire.

What do you like best?

That it's a huge time saver. It really helps to be able to get a feel for a candidates demeanor, communication skills, and general cultural fit for a position before bringing them into the building for a face to face interview.

What do you dislike?

My only dislike so far would be the fact that I have to pay more in order to download the videos. If I'd like to keep the video in an employees electronic file my company will have to go up to the next "tier" on pricing, which is a real downer.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The number one problem that is currently being solved by using Spark Hire would be simply navigating the waters with COVID right now. Gathering an initial set of answers from a candidate virtually is definitely a plus when we can't have folks physically in the building right now.

What do you like best?

Sparkhire is a solid platform that allows me to "interview" exponentially more candidates for initial interviews, and find the best people as quickly as possible. As a single person Recruiting / HR department, this is especially important for my company's continued growth.

What do you dislike?

There is really no downside to using Sparkhire. My only recommendation for improvement would be around being able to organize interview files more efficiently. I would like to see more flexibility in how I could organize the interview with folders, etc.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The business problem of time versus number of applicants. A lot of applicants to sift through that takes time. With Sparkhire I've created a very streamlines process for initial interviews and recommendations to hiring managers that allow us to basically only "face to face" interview candidates we are likely to make offers to.

What do you like best?

I use Spark Hire every day and this is important that platform is user friendly and self explanatory. I never had been trained to use it.

I would like to mention the support Spark Hire provides to its customers: the level of service is just amazing! I get a feedback and a follow up request every time the ticket was raised.

I am an administrator of Spark Hire in my organization and Spark Hire does help to make my life and life of my hiring managers easier!

I like everything about SparkHire! Sometimes applicants become annoyed by the reminders.

What do you like best?

It's wonderful to have potential candidates have the ability to do an interview at any hour of the day. It gives them the opportunity to take their time and put thought into the process. In the past it was always very difficult to lineup interviews or to be able to have somebody do an interview in person. But with this program and them having the ability to work at a reasonable time for them it allows us to see the best of people. We received so many more responses than we ever did for in person interviews. The program is versatile and allows us to create and sculpt the types of questions and thoughts that we want to execute.

What do you dislike?

For the time that we have used it I truly haven't come across any aspect of dislike. And I am a few years into the process at this point.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

As mentioned before the benefits are being able to bring out the best in people and receiving more responses. I love the ability to rate the people and channel I to make it easier and faster to access them.

What do you like best?

Recruiting candidates takes time. Time is money! Spark Hire’s technology allows me to conduct multiple interviews simultaneously without ever leaving the house! It works without my constant involvement. That’s leverage.

What do you dislike?

Well, if I have to pick something, I suppose it would be nice to have all the questions recorded by the actors.

The UI is great and it gave us extreme time savings!

Can't think of any downside to this. I wish I would have learned about it the MINUTE it hit the market!

How easy it is to use, we didn't need to explain to our collaborators how to use the platform since it was so intuitive.

What do you dislike?

That you are not allowed to share screen during live interviews and that in order to keep your information on the platform between recruiting processes you need to pay.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Spark Hire is working on sharing screen during interviews, if you need to share screen I would recommend sending a Zoom link or Google Drive via the Spark Hire chat.

What do you like best?

One of the best capabilites of Spark Hire, is that I'm able to share candidate/client interviews with managers by sharing a unique url that takes them directly to the video. No logins needed for users that are non-admins! We also utilize the auto-schedule and have eliminated the back and forth over email/phone calls just to scheudle another phone call. With Spark Hire, candidates can see openings on my calendar and schedule themselves.

What do you dislike?

One improvement we would like to see made is the ability to add multiple locations (or omit adding a location) when creating a job/job interview.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have too many candidates, and too little time for them to tell abou themselves. With candidates able to complete interviews on their own time, we're open virtualy 24/7 for prilimiary round interviews. The benefit to us having capacity to interview all applicants, is we're truly able to give all applicants a chance, and feel like we've gotten to know their face and story before we even meet them face to face.
