The AI editor tolls are great and do a wonderful job. They have recently been enhanced and work much quicker cutting a lot of time out for me to edit each episode.

There is no pause option to do when in the middle of a recording

It’s nice that you can now create a newsletter and upload post to social media from Riverside. However, it sucks that this is only available on the higher priced plans.

I like its high-quality recordings, easy-to-use interface, and reliable local recording feature, which makes creating professional content much easier.

Sometimes the platform can feel slow to load, and a few editing features are limited compared to dedicated video editing software. It can also take a while to upload or process large recordings.

Riverside solves the problem of poor-quality online recordings by capturing audio and video locally instead of relying only on internet quality. This benefits me by helping me create professional-looking content with clear audio, fewer technical issues, and less time spent fixing recording problems afterward.

I like it is all in one, I like the affordability, I like the continued enhancements to the platforms and most importantly it is easy to use.

I would like co-creator AI to continue to improve or better integration with LLM's like Claude or Gemini to create better processes.

All in one, I have the ability to run multiple shows for the Bourbon Lens in one podcast and really truly see the impact it has on our podcast channel.

I love how easy Riverside is to use; it's very user-friendly and intuitive. The price is very low for the value provided. The AI features make it easy to edit and create professional content. Support is great, and if you have any questions, there are a ton of great resources.

The only "problem" I've run into is getting my camera and mic connected and ensuring my browser is allowing access to both.

I didn't know what I didn't know. I was new to podcasting and recording and found it very easy to understand the process from recording to editing.

Extremely easy to use and genuinely user-friendly. The vast majority of the features work very well, and the regular product updates keep it feeling cutting-edge. The embedded AI is excellent overall, although it still needs a bit of refinement. Pricing for an individual such as myself is quite reasonable given the value this tool brings. If you are a YouTuber, podcaster, frequent video-caller who likes to edit - this may be a one-stop shop tool for you.

It uses a lot of memory, even when it’s just open in the background. I’ve found that closing extra tabs while using it helps keep performance up. Also, the AI voice feature occasionally goes a little crazy—this has happened about half a dozen times for me. When it works, it’s a top-tier AI voice, but it doesn’t work consistently enough for me to rely on it.

The AI co creator of this platform is of great assistance to the user. The ability of this platform to personalized tone and voice is really helpful. I love the capability of this platform to do branding on the content. I also love the capability of this platform to create a personalized workflow. I also love the capability of this platform to generate SRT or Text for the transcript. The files can also be imported easily to this platform from the local or cloud drive. The scheduling of this platform is also reliable. I love the capability of this platform to host a webinar or do recording. The overall performance of this platform is good. The platform have a user friendly interface and the onboarding of this platform was also easy.

I love most part of this platform but I wish that the processing speed of this platform was a little more faster. I wish that the translation was available during or after the transcribing process. I wish that this platform provides option to transcribe through media links. I wish that the pricing of this platform was a little more moderate and having more integration on this platform would make this platform better.

Frankly, Transcribing and editing of media is really easy with the use of this platform. User have become more efficient and effective. The user friendly interface makes user more comfortable to execute the task. The various features of this platform like hosting podcast or webinars improves the productivity of the user. The customization and branding available on this platform is helpful.

My favorite thing about Riverside is the local recording quality. Even if an internet connection drops or becomes unstable during an interview, Riverside records each participant directly on their own device and uploads the high-quality files afterward. That provides clear, professional audio and video without the glitches common to many video conferencing platforms.

I also appreciate how easy it is to invite guests, record remotely, download separate audio and video tracks, and use built-in AI features like transcriptions and clip creation. It streamlines my entire workflow and lets me spend more time creating content instead of troubleshooting technical issues.

The main drawback is that some of Riverside’s most useful editing and AI features are limited to the higher-priced subscription plans. I have also experienced occasional uploading, syncing, or browser-related issues after longer recording sessions. These problems have been minor, but they can add extra time to the production process. Overall, the platform works well, but more consistent performance and greater access to advanced features on lower-tier plans would make it even better.

I am not very tech saavy and I have found the recording setup and execution to be extremely user friendly. And any issues I have, the help team is very quick to resolve!

I haven't really run into any issues. I don't do the editing on my own so I can't speak to those pieces of the process.

Making the recording process and the ability to send to my editors really easy and seamless.

The best part about Riverside FM is the year-over-year improvements to their offerings, along with the hands-on support I get from the tech team. Whenever I run into an issue that the AI support can’t handle, I’m almost immediately connected with a live person. They consistently follow up and keep helping until the problem is resolved to my satisfaction.

I dislike that, on the Pro plan, I’m now only able to have one studio. When I first started using Riverside FM, I could create a new studio for every podcast episode, so having to adjust to the updated application each year—even when the changes are small—can be a bit challenging.

Simple interface, continued improvement of the product and the AI element

So far haven't found any flaws. Just haven't gotten to some of the more "advanced" features

I would need to have a whole lot of people assisting me to do what a few clicks on the interface can do for me.
