Easy-to-Use, Colour-Coded Scheduling That Keeps Me Organised

What do you like best about Resource Guru?

I’m new to Resource Guru; however, it’s easy to use because everything is colour-coded and straightforward to navigate. It helps me feel very organised, and I know exactly how to break down my day with Resource Guru. So far it’s been an amazing experience, and I can’t fault it at the moment.

What do you dislike about Resource Guru?

I can’t fault it at the moment; it does what it says on the tin.

It’s helping me find colleagues quickly, and I can see what they’re doing throughout the day. That way, I know when I can catch up with them and when they’re free to talk through issues and provide support. It really saves me a lot of time and stress because I always know who to reach out to.

Missing filters for my bookings of other people (bookings I manage)

Legacy bookings / past bookings obstruct the view when the people are not active on the project anymore. (would love that only bookings from today and forward could be shown)

Shared overview of resources across mulitple PMs in multiple locations. Reporting on total booked days on a project level.

Resource Guru is a good platform for allocating resources .

What do you like best about Resource Guru?

It helps to keep track of work within the system and allows for better workflow distribution. The platform is user-friendly and has enabled our organization to manage resources more efficiently. It is especially useful given that our team has three Project Managers, as it allows us to easily see which resources are available and for how long.

What do you dislike about Resource Guru?

So far, it has been good for us; I haven't encountered any dislikes so far so good. It is suitable for our organization because it is large, and Guru helps track every resource.

What problems is Resource Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?

We used to face difficulties in scheduling resources manually, and Guru has solved that problem because it automates the scheduling, which has reduced the need for manual intervention and it has helped minimize errors. It also allows us to plan ahead in terms of resoure allocation.

I like that it provides a clear visual, so I can easily see where each resource is allocated. This helps us make quick decisions about which scope to assign to a particular labour resource.

So far, from my daily use, I haven’t noticed any downsides to using Resource Guru.

We have constantly changing labour and scope requirements, which means we need to adjust specific labour resources regularly. Resource Guru makes this easy to manage. It also supports productivity because we can ensure all of our labour resources are being utilised, which helps us avoid stagnant labour and saves us money.

Convenient schedule checker and Project Allocator

What do you like best about Resource Guru?

I can easily track who’s in and out each day and review the work allocation for each of my colleagues. This helps me quickly see who I can ask for assistance or delegate critical, urgent tasks to.

What do you dislike about Resource Guru?

The way it shows the people who are out for the day (only shows one person needs to click to see the others) makes me think there's only 1 person who is on leave

What problems is Resource Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?

Tasks and projects often end up over-allocated. With RG, we can avoid that and manage our projects in present and advance accordingly.
