It allows you to compare previous weeks and months to give you an idea of what works and what doesn't.
I wish it had a tool where you can view stories published by the date – it would be good to know how stories are performing on certain days.
Parsley is terrific for monitoring traffic and analyzing what works well and what to continue working on.
I enjoy categorizing how I can find numbers down to the specific day and vertical. It helped me when I reviewed and reported how well certain site areas were fairing.
I did not like how the interface worked on mobile. I was unsure if there is an app component, but I did not enjoy having to use the browser version for Parse.ly.

Parse.ly is the easiest content analytics tool I've ever used, making it super quick to train editors and enable them to make data-driven decisions. Scheduled reports and an easy-to-use UX make it a daily habit for most of our editors.
Slightly technical, but Parse.ly collects a lot of helpful user-level info that the customer isn't able to access. While I understand why this would be difficult to share, it would be SO great to have from a data perspective.
Getting real-time readership data — and historical data — in a user-friendly, easy-to-understand way has always been a challenge for newsrooms. Parse.ly makes it easy to contextualize data and gain insight.
It is very accurate and easy to use, everything can be found within a few seconds, the best thing about it is how I have access to an overall experience. It is the best in the market.
I have nothing wrong or bad to say about it.
It is giving me accurate numbers regarding the stories I write and it helps me compare how the newspaper I work for is doing compared to the other ones within the company.
The possibily to see the perfomances of an article and the best referers
The overview which said that yesterday was the best "monday" on xxx mondays.
It could be great to have the same number of day for every weekdays
Solve the problem of trafic. The benefit is that I can use this data for reportings
The user interface is very intuitive and easy to use, so it doesn't require much, if any, training for new team members
It only tracks 'article views' - ie how many users view an article, and doesn't track additional clicks within an article, like photos in a gallery, so we still need to refer to Google Analytics to track total page views vs article views....but that's not a big issue for us. Parse.ly is so much easier to use than Google Analytics.
It makes it easy for everyone on our team to access and easily digest key performance metrics at the individual, team and overall level and really helps us drill down on efficiency since it makes it easy to see what content is performing well vs underperforming content, so it's easy for us to make business decisions about resource shifts.
It is super easy to filter and pull quick reports for various campaigns based on a variety of different factors like date ranges, verticals, and referral source.
I wish there was a way for us to dig deeper into the source of our direct traffic.
It helps us keep a pulse on daily performance, while also helping us identify referral sources where we can grow or expand.
The dashboard is super easy to use and view. Data is displayed in an organized manner. There's also apps for iPhone and iPad.
Many of the report features available on the site are not available in the iPhone and iPad app. Doesn't show accurate Apple News data.
Parse.ly is a way to view comprehensive site analytics and then create reports for analysis. I've been using it to figure out what stories perform and what topics to go after.
The look of it and how user friendly it is.
It is a bit confusing when you add more elements into it

Parse.ly helps me know what stories are resonating with readers and also which ones are not.
The app is not my favorite. I much prefer to use Parse.ly on my iPhone's browser.
Parse.ly shows what stories are performing and which are not. Also helps change plans or update stories accordingly.
