I normal don't offer reviews. But I wanted to share my experience has new customer. I wanted a change from another well known secure & private mail. After some reviews I decided to sign up for mailfence services. This was straight forward in setting up the account. Initial there was a bit of confusion between the various Plans. maybe they could make it clear how many domains you can have per plan. I was about to cancel my account, but after reaching out to their support dept, who responded quick, I was able to move on to the Pro plan which allows you to have up to 5 domain names. Also had to reach support on another matters and happy that on all occasions they replied quickly. So far the support and service has been excellent.
After trying other companies specialized on crippled emails, Mailfence was the only once capable to import our hundreds of Folders and thousands of emails from Gmail. Great service and Company.

I've been using Mailfence for almost three years now. For a very reasonable price I got private and safe synchronisation of my email and calendar across devices. The customer support is excellent. Most of the limitations I found when using the product have to do with factors external to the provider, such as my Ethernet firewall at work not admitting an active sync account, or the fact that I had to buy a third-party application if I didn't want to use the Gmail app in my phone. Even that problem got solved recently by Mailfence, since they developed a simple but useful Android app. I am a super happy user and strongly recommend the service!
Slowly moving away from the usual big Tech companies, and have been trying a number of free/trial email accounts. Settled on Mailfence primarily due to the excellent customer service. They patiently provided support when I had some basic questions. Very much appreciated. I have subscribed to a paid account. Imported emails from my previous supplier, and setup a custom domain. All very easy as there are clear guides available from Mailfence. My only observations relate to the Web interface and the PWA. They could have more functionality. I would love to be able to customise the view etc. However, Mailfence publishes in their Blogs the upcoming road map for 2021. This is reassuring as they state that they are looking at updating the interfaces.
I have decided to walk away from Google and big tech services in general. My email is a critical think in my ecosystem of tools and services I use on a daily basis, therefore as part of my benchmark and research for good and reliable alternatives, I've found that Mailfence offers the best relation Features-Price-Reliability. The webmail offers everything I could need, the security standards and beliefs are quite strong, they are based in Belgium, not in The US / Australia / UK, the feature list is quite enough. And last but not least: the customer service / support is just awesome. Just like in the old times you can talk to actual human beings if you need anything and they are very nice by the way :)I strongly suggest you to create an account and explore it by yourself and also pay attention to the security features and foundation that Mailfence has. recently started to de-google. tried with the free version for around a month and now just subscribed. reasonably priced. have their own pwa. the support team is also very helpful and replied promptly and patiently. so far i am satisfied with the service
