What are the limits of the free plan?

The free plan gives you 20 scans per month at no cost — no credit card required. Each scan checks a listing's title, description, and tags against our trademark database and Etsy policy rules. USPTO live lookup and AI image scan are paid features (Basic $9/month, Pro $29/month).

Is my listing data safe?

Listing data is sent to an AI model for compliance analysis and is not stored on our servers — only scan counts are persisted for rate-limiting. Your listing content is never sold or shared with third parties, and is not used to train AI models.

How is this different from checking manually?

ListingSafe scans a title, description, and tags against 1,000+ trademarked terms, flagged phrases, and Etsy's prohibited categories in under 10 seconds, then returns each issue with a specific fix recommendation — instead of manually searching the USPTO database and reading Etsy's policies for every listing.

Does it support batch scanning?

Yes. All plans, including free, support uploading a listings CSV exported from Etsy Shop Manager to scan multiple listings in one batch. Free users get 20 scans/month, Basic 300, Pro unlimited. You can download a CSV or PDF compliance report with every flagged issue, its severity, and the fix recommendation.

What if my listing gets flagged as a violation?

Each flagged issue comes with a specific recommendation on how to fix it — for trademark violations you're told to remove the term and given a generic replacement; for policy issues you're told what wording or category to avoid. Basic and Pro users also get the Suggested Rewrite feature to auto-generate a compliant version of the title or description.

Yes. The Appeal Letter Generator (Basic and Pro plans) helps you write a response when Etsy has removed a listing or sent a violation notice.
