Eclipse has grown from an early open-source software to a mature platform to host project and portfolio management. The platform is relatively easy to design apps for. Standardized and being open source, when there is a problem or issue, the entire open source community is available. I tested several versions o of eclipse in 20 + languages; It is a solid platform to develop on and use

The user interface gets some getting used to. But one familiar with the interface it is pretty intuitive.

The challenge in first starting is getting al the data sources sorted to be valid inputs to the PPM solution

Project Management software used for day to day resource time sheet management, project financials, weekly schedule management. This has been a great asset in our PMO space.
