Couchbase provides the capabilities and storage our business was looking for with some of our large projects, which are being used today. The team itself is a great partner who is always willing to help and make sure our environments are stable and secured but make sure we are content.
At this time, it is a bit of a learning curve if you come from RDMS environment.
Problems we are trying to solve are related to visibility solutions for several of our customer applications and having a good storage environment.

I used couchbase to store and retrieve inventory related data for an e-commerce website.
Couchbase provides a robust SDK for multi platform integration. All we did was to build a wrapper layer around it and integrated with our inventory API. Ease of use and solid documentation played a vital part in the success of the integration.
I also liked their dashboard where a lot of server health related metrics were updated in realtime. I also liked the ability to search and view the stored documents from the dashboard.
Documents search feature can be improved like adding advanced search options which can improve the entire search user experience
We used couchbase to improve the overall user experience in the e-commerce website by maintaining inventory data. Couchbase was much faster and was able to handle a lot of load than a traditional relational SQL database which was a huge benefit.
- Highly available
- Easy to integrate
- Low read and write time compared to other cloud databases
- Bad GUI
- Ability to find options on UI
Yes, It is highly recommended as it provides good read and write speed. Also it is handy when it comes to integration with your code
I'm using this as a data store for website with servers with no data storage
It's user friends usage and integrated to multiple languages and handle all DB complexity through internally and the user should focus only on business logic.
It sometimes intermittently fail the CRUD operation and hide the exact reason of failure. Exception handling and logging should be imprioved.
Data modeling is easy, and storing data is super easy once understood how it internally reserves data. Also it's data accessibility & high availability and zero downtime were some of key features which were most crucial non-functional requirement client always look for a NoSQL DB.
One of the things that makes Couchbase server very useful in our application is its resilience and high availability without the need for onerous maintenance.
The only downside to Couchbase server is the poor performance when you do not have an index. Elasticsearch is very convenient in this respect.
I would highly recommend Cochbase for caching applications.
We are solving multi-object and session caching and using it as an ingest bridge to write data to ElasticSearch. The object caching performance is very performant.
These days software development industry moving into NoSQL databases when realizing its benefits. Couchbase is a fast and flexible application. And it provides high security for databases. Also, it is simple and easy to use. And it consists of different features. Also easy to deploy and manage. Also, Couchbase provides rich reports. So, it makes our work efficient and effective. And Couchbase has high scalability and reliability. Therefore, it helps to make better decisions based on the databases. Couchbase can be integrated with any application, especially with mobile apps and large enterprise applications which requires higher performance.
The initial setting-up process is time-consuming. As well as, this has less community support. Also, need better documentation. Otherwise, this is the right database solution for us according to our experience.
I can recommend Couchbase to anyone and any organization.
Couchbase is one of the fastest database solutions, which is mainly specific for the NoSQL Databases. I have a pleasant experience with the Couchbase because we have been using it for several years now. I can directly express my idea about Couchbase because it is positive and excellent. So, I can also recommend Couchbase to anyone and any organization. Since this is an easy to use database solution, it has increased our productivity regarding app development and database development.

Indexes are the best feature I find about couchbase. These easily index documents hence allowing quick retrieval of documents. Apart from that, the N1QL language support also helps a lot in development.
The UI could be a bit more user friendly. However, what is available is nonetheless amazing too. Definitely would recommend to any company which has to manage huge number of documents.
I use couchbase for working with documents and managing them to get optimal work. While doing so, couchbase is very useful at working with the documents and also with the querying.
