What do you like best about CMiC Platform?Once you get past the initial learning curve, the ease of use is a real plus. The interface is laid out logically across modules, so after our team understood the overall navigation, moving into new areas like procurement or equipment management didn’t require much additional training.What do you dislike about CMiC Platform?There’s so much functionality packed into the platform that it can take some time to uncover every feature that’s relevant to my role, but that feels like a small price to pay for having so much capability in one place.What problems is CMiC Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?Before, we had limited insight into equipment utilization and maintenance costs, which made it difficult to tell whether we were managing our fleet efficiently. With CMiC’s tracking tools, we now have that visibility, and it’s helped us make more informed decisions about repairs, replacements, and how we allocate equipment across jobs.

What do you like best about CMiC Platform?It's very all inclusive with a balance for field and enterprise. We can effectively streamline a ton of processes with the software that we couldn't before.What do you dislike about CMiC Platform?Just finding out that we can't utilize collaboration to the extent we were hoping to. We wanted our subcontractors to submit requests for payment through the collaboration module to streamline how they go to project managers for approval, then to AP to process.What problems is CMiC Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?Our ability to workflow and create systems that will improve internal processes and easier tracking. The workflow for invoices has helped us simplify the way that accounting and project manager review and approve. The compliances have allowed us the ability to process invoices in the system without having to save them in a folder somewhere while we wait for the updated documents.

What do you like best about CMiC Platform?I like that the platform is user friendly, as well as the support team.What do you dislike about CMiC Platform?Sometimes when I am in the system for a long time, it will give me an error regarding the network but when I refresh it works.What problems is CMiC Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?Not applicable

What do you like best about CMiC Platform?My org has previously had many disparate systems across our enterprise architecture for accounting, project management, and very weak integrations for other systems. Now, we have this all in one system, with a more intuitive UX that allows us have high adoption and less reliance on support.What do you dislike about CMiC Platform?The biggest area where my team has struggled in the past is adapting to new feature updates without the level of support we needed. Many times, we felt we weren’t fully enabled to use newer areas of CMiC that could drive further operational efficiency.What problems is CMiC Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?Going back to my initial response: having that orchestration in CMiC—because it’s our source of truth and it eliminates disparate systems—has been a big success. Before, we spent a lot of time building reports manually, pulling information from all our systems, and swivel-chairing between tools just to finish deliverables, and things would still slip through the cracks. Having automation and an all-in-one system has saved our team many hours across projects.

What do you like best about CMiC Platform?What I like most about the CMiC platform is that it acts as a single source of truth for project, financial, and workforce data, giving organizations clearer visibility into project activity and resource needs. With that visibility, I can have more informed conversations with clients, anticipate hiring demand sooner, and better align talent solutions with their business priorities.What do you dislike about CMiC Platform?What I like least about the CMiC platform is that its depth and flexibility can also create a steep learning curve for new users. Although it’s a powerful tool, it can take a while to fully understand all the available functionality and to build more advanced reports or configurations without additional support.What problems is CMiC Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?CMiC addresses the challenge of fragmented project, financial, and workforce information by bringing it together in a single platform. This centralization gives clearer visibility into project activity, resource requirements, and overall business performance. For me, the main benefit is that it helps clients make more informed workforce decisions, anticipate hiring needs sooner, and better align talent acquisition efforts with active projects and broader growth plans.

Pricing is standard across competitors but what sets it apart is the customer support. Being a Toronto based company you know who you're speaking with and you won't be stuck on hold for hours at a time.Recommendations to others considering CMiC Platform?While the UI is relatively straightforward, it was difficult to get up and running. It took a while to learn the platform and get familiar with it.What problems is CMiC Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?It helps consolidate all entries into one source of truth. Similarly, it centralizes our operations helping keep everything in one place. It helps highlight certain aspects of the business we wouldn't have noticed prior to having it.

What do you like best about CMiC Platform?The biggest advantage is having everything in one system—accounting, project management, and job costing are all connected within a single platform. Before CMiC, we were juggling separate tools and constantly reconciling numbers across them; now the data carries through automatically, which has reduced errors and saved our team a lot of manual cross-checking each month.What do you dislike about CMiC Platform?The learning curve is steep, especially for new users. The platform has a lot of depth, and it genuinely takes time and training before someone feels comfortable navigating between modules without needing help. CMiC brings all of that together under each project, which has made our cost reporting much more reliable and has given leadership greater confidence in the numbers they’re using.

What do you like best about CMiC Platform?ocument management tied directly to each project — drawings, RFIs, submittals — keeps everything organized in context instead of scattered across email threads and shared drives. What do you like best about CMiC Platform?It's built specifically for construction, so the workflows — job costing, billing, subcontractor compliance tracking — actually match how our business operates day to day. Still, that feels like a small trade-off for having so much capability available in one place.What problems is CMiC Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?We used to spend a lot of time manually building reports in spreadsheets, pulling data from multiple systems. With CMiC’s reporting tools, we can generate what we need directly within the platform. That has freed up hours for our finance team, so they can focus more on analysis rather than compiling data.As we've grown, keeping consistent processes across multiple projects and offices became harder to manage. CMiC gives us a standardized platform everyone works from, which has made it much easier to maintain consistency and onboard new project teams.
