HR section is thin. Also lack of documentation and setup. Some modules take a lot of setup and a lot of documentation references itself - "XYZ field - put in the XYZ field".

In my opinion it is the best all-around construction ERP available today. I have experience with other non-construction ERPs, but neither of them would be a good fit for a construction company.

I do wish I had a better environment to test in that was only overwritten at my request. I also wish creating financial reports was an easier process.

Having a consolidated system that brings many aspects of running a business together on one platform is extremely beneficial. I especially like that, beyond the standard ERP functionality, it also includes timekeeping.

.CMiC is Construction Industry focus so we get the most of the ERP

Since we are cloud clients it's not as easy to modify the system as PaaS clients

There are many benefits to using CMIC. The batched EFT integration has been a real time-saver for us, and it has also helped reduce costs. Another benefit has been implementing CMIC Field for construction contracts and budget management, which has made it easier for us to stay on top of those areas.

Outstanding support from both the support team and our account rep. CMiC’s performance has been great, with virtually no downtime. The integrations are also strong and seamless, which makes day-to-day use much easier.

It’s easy to control the features, and the integration with external apps is solid. The AI also helps a lot when it comes to solving issues and responding to questions or doubts.

I like the reporting aspects, the ability to search, and the variety of canned reports. I also really appreciate the ability to use CMiC analytics, as it allows me to query data quickly to obtain information.

I use CMiC Platform for accounting, reporting, and project management. It allows me to query data quickly to obtain information.

All of the data is on one place. The new user interface for Nexus 1 is very user friendly and easy to read. Very easy to get data out of the system to integrate with other applications. CMiC is focused on assisting to provide the best product performance. CMiC Support is very responsive. Love the Chat option that immediately connects to a live support when necessary and will even take it to the next step of opening a case if that is required.

Although CMiC is focused on improving performance, I would say that is the biggest complaint from our users. I am hoping that with the transition to Nexus and the use of Apps that the performance improves.

Our prior system was not web based and did not offer access to project financials to our users. Now the entire project teams have access to what they need - project performance, budget vs. actual, anticipated costs and forecasting, so they can make decisions earlier to improve profit.
