Tritech is one of the most user friendly and updated dispatching software programs out there! It is leading in dispatch software and it’s easy to see why.
Nothing! Whenever there is an update needed, it is done within a timely manner and there is always ways to make the program your own and cater it to your needs.
We are solving massive communication issues, along with being able to solve accountability issues with our officers and deputies.
Integrates with other central square products. Easy to use.
Not sure yet. There are certain things I would like to see made mandatory to fill out before going on to another section.
Able to integrate into other components of central square so it makes reporting easier
CentralSquare CAD is highly regarded for its efficient dispatching capabilities and comprehensive data management, which greatly enhance emergency response coordination and public safety operations.
particularly regarding its user interface, which can be complex and less intuitive, and occasional issues with system integration and customization flexibility
CentralSquare CAD effectively addresses critical needs in emergency response management by streamlining dispatch processes and consolidating vital information. This results in faster, more coordinated emergency services, which indirectly benefits everyone, including me, by contributing to a safer and more responsive community environment.
As a Property Manager, I enjoy the simplicity of the Property/Evidence functions.
I dislike the aspects of the system that are so close to "best practices," but just barely miss the mark.
I am not exactly solving any problems that were not solved with our old records management system, but procedures for many of my tasks are simpler now. Saving time in some ways.
Central Square CAD is robust software designed specifically for Computer Aided Dispatch.
Very costly software and annual support. I find it unnecessarily difficult to manage the map layers. We often have to import updated maps, and the process is quite involved.
CAD is used in our PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point) to aid the telecommunicator in collecting call data and dispatching officers.
drag and drop option for officer dispatching,
toggling between screens is a pain. also if you start a call and ends up being a dud you can't cancel the call you have to complete and save and it messes with your statistics. if another operator opens your call while you're still getting information and they hit save it deletes your information
zuercher is an efficient way to monitor jail logs, shift logs and 9811 dispatching
I would say that it is user friendly, though some of my coworkers may disagree. I like the call taking screen's format. We have gone through other vendors recently, and I strongly prefer this vendor.
There are too many different boxes for 1 application. It is too customizable, and I wish it was all able to fit in one screen instead of 3.
Pretty sure it's about to be absorbed by another company, so I'd hold off any contract negotiations until they are done. Who knows what kind of product they will have by the end of the merger.
Some users enjoy the customization, it gives each of us the ability to organize the screens how we process it best, which lends to efficiency. The process to get a call queued is extremely easy. Our queue times for high priority calls are under 30 seconds, which is extremely important in our line of work.
It's compatible with other systems which is good.
Formatting issues that LETG still has and it will not change.
It's ok
It makes things easier to go through dispatch than use Zuercher.
Through updates the software has maintained a fairly intuitive/easy-to-understand interface. An adequate degree of customizability allows individual dispatchers to set up their CAD display in a way that best suits them.
Our agency recently updated to version 22.1.9, which came with an overhauled call-taking window. Long story short, the new one displays the same information and has the same function as old, while managing to take up more space. Everything is larger, as if it was designed for a touch screen. It's made it more difficult to manipulate multiple call windows at the same time. This update is a step in the wrong direction, the only plus being it's more visually appealing and you have a snapshot of premise history without needing to open a separate window.
Additionally, there's an issue with copying and pasting anything with line breaks into the call notes. The software doesn't recognize them and reverts to just adding the first line of whatever you copied.
CentralSquare CAD serves as our law enforcement dispatch software. The platform is pretty versatile and can be tailored to whatever functions you need such as CAD-to-CAD communication, unit stacking, etc.

The software's user interface is excellent and caters to both dispatchers and administrators who configure it. It is highly robust and can present a vast amount of information at dispatchers' fingertips. The customer service is of top-notch quality, and we have a dedicated support team for our center. I can rely on the same group of people to answer whenever I call for help with an issue. We run this software on 5 consoles that operate 24/7 in a 9-1-1 dispatch center. It was effortless to integrate it into our system, and updates seem to be an easy process.
I find it very frustrating that I am unable to update the map layers on my software independently. Instead, I have to submit the layers to the software providers and wait for them to update the layers. This process has taken several weeks on a couple of occasions. However, in cases of emergency updates, they were able to push the updates through in just a few hours.
We use CAD to process our incoming 9-1-1 calls and dispatch first responders to the issue.
