Still have not found something that I don't like about Basis.
We're in healthcare so Basis allows us to use more precise targeting since we are not allowed to do any form of retargeting.
Basis is easy to use, and has accurate targeting segments to pinpoint your ideal audience. The reporting is robust and easy to get the data that shows the impact of Basis performance to clients. Very responsive and helpful support staff.

There are some really cool features in the DSP. The third party audiences are great. Campaign builder has so many functions. Tech support is super quick and very helpful.
It could be a bit more user friendly. Customer support tickets don't give support personel all the information input. Sometimes you have to explain the issue twice.
Basis is giving out clients a much expanded reach for their businesses.

Most DSPs look for outlandish minimums and solely focus on enterprise clients. Basis believes in supporting all businesses with advanced API connectivity. Other DSPs want high minimums, limit API usage to larger clients, and tailor only to enterprise. We get the best DSP tech out there coupled with the flexibilility to grow the relationship as we go.
No real downside. They bring the best capabilities of the DSP world (data sources, API's for advanced automation, support) and look to make it accessible to all.
Advanced API Connectivity that allows us to automate virtually all functions of the DSP with our own software. This allows us to scale our business and provide affordable campaign minimums so businesses of all sizes can benefit.
The best features are the analytics section to check pacing and performance. You can filter by the metrics you want to see. Also, the reports are beneficial: by creative size, data segment, delivery and performance, and domains/exchange optimizations.
I don't see opportunities to implement DOOH tactics. There are no dashboard views to create customized brand storytelling i.e., using media assets in an easy-to-use circuit by creating rules that would show ads in a controlled, predetermined way to your target audience.
Basis support has helped us solve multiple PG/PMP issues we've faced with DV360. Often publishers do not know how to resolve DSP issues, so DSP support is critical.
Basis is very easy to use and their team will dedicate as much time as needed during the onboarding process to make sure you are comfortable with their platform before turning the keys over completely to you.
The account spending minimum does make Basis more unattainable for smaller advertising agencies, but is not so out of reach that the smaller agencies might not ever be able to use Basis.
Basis continually expands their product offerings and will also allow you to be apart of any beta testing that might be of interest to you. They have developed new reporting dashboards, are working on Digital Out Of Home and are also refining their current products at the same time.
Basis is very easy and user-friendly. Customer service is also best to none.
Don't have any downsides to add at the moment.
