The ease of use for Sales Tax Returns. It's worry-free on getting multiple states filed. Customer support is fantastic.

Reports are a little hard to know which ones to fit your needs.

Awesome Products for Remote Sellers

What do you like best about Avalara?

I appreciate being able to process sales transactions in multiple jurisdictions throughout the U.S. Additionally, I value that Avalara files my returns promptly and on time. It's easy to use and support is phenomenal.

What do you dislike about Avalara?

The QuickBooks integration feels somewhat clumsy at the moment. I hope to see some improvements in the near future.

What problems is Avalara solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use this for filing taxes across multiple jurisdictions and states. Additionally, it helps me manage our tax exemption compliance and store certificates securely. The platform simplifies the process of validating certificates, making it much easier to handle these tasks.

Amazing Experience

What do you like best about Avalara?

I like how easy it is to use. I like how easy it is to intergrate with systems and the customer support is top notch.

What do you dislike about Avalara?

My only dislike is how slow the site is. The support could be better.

Avalara has solved my problems with how much to tax with AvaTax. They have solved the issue on how to keep up with exempt certificates and W-9/1099.

Avalara rocks

What do you like best about Avalara?

Outstanding products and excellent customer service. Five years ago I subscribed to AvaTax and the implementation was very smooth. Since then I have experienced a user-friendly software. In addition I subscribed to ECM which is also very user-friendly and efficient. The two applications have made our Company well compliant in the entire United States.

What do you dislike about Avalara?

Access to sales and use tax returns is limited to those who subscribe for return services. I would love to see access to returns for every subscriber to AvaTax.

Tax calculations and Exemption Certificated management.

Avalara has made a very tedious and time consuming task immensely easier and more transparent Taxin'

What do you like best about Avalara?

I appreciate the ease of availability the Avalara team provides. If we need something, we can call, email, chat, etc. When using platforms with so many functionalities it's a really valuable feature to be able to reach out and actually reach someone.

What do you dislike about Avalara?

I don't really enjoy the tiers when signing up for programs, they're oftentimes a "one size fits all", which isn't always great when you are a midsize company.

Getting Sales Tax Right

What do you like best about Avalara?

The software does most of the work for you. I don't have to keep up with thousands of rates or state laws. It also is a huge time saver with filing returns and keeping up with certificates.

What do you dislike about Avalara?

It is difficult correcting errors in SST states.

Recommendations to others considering Avalara?

If you are selling over the internet and growing, sales tax you will be owing - use Avalara.

What problems is Avalara solving and how is that benefiting you?

Reduces our need to staff up or hire an outside accounting firm. Keeps our information organized and audit ready.
