Excellent platform and tool for Database as a service DBaaS, features that are best to be found for this tool in my experience and perception could be as follow:

Databases services

Integration with all AWS tools for data management purpose data masking, data replication, etc.

DocumentDB thats is Amazon database supports multi model query language. Best and upside of this tool is built in search feature for query the data.

No nothing could find till now. All good.

The integration with AWS, I like most about Amazon DocumentDB simplifying deployment process and we are able to use AwS services like easy backup, monitoring, security, etc.

As such nothing to dislike about Amazon DocumentDB except it's cost. Cost is higher as compared to other web services.

Compared to the other document database like MangoDB, Amazon DocumentDB has limited community.

AWS Document DB is a fully managed DB. Also, it is compatible with Mongo DB. Highly manageable, fault-tolerant and easy to create and destroy the infra as and when needed. It also has instant crash recovery. The security part is also good for the Document DB

I am not satisfied with the updates they are releasing; I have experienced slowness with the new updates. Many features supported by SQL is not supported here which makes it little hard to handle

Document DB gets integrated with Mongo DB quickly. No schema is required at the time of DB creation. It is a NoSQL offering from AWS.

Amazon DocumentDb is helping and solving the problem of scalability; any services which a business uses should be highly available,and also, like it is giving features of fully managed service, Compute is independent of storage, and it is benefiting also in view of price because the less i am using, the less i am paying for the database.

Easy and cost effective and scalable without managing infrastructure

Its only compatible with 3.6 API that means if driver older than that comes there is no API support

Also, amazon is not 100% accurate in corrctness test like aggregation pipeline, certain data types and there is no change in stream support.

Easy to operate and json format can be checked on multiple platforms

The best thing about Amazon DocumentDB is that we can analyze our DocumentDB data in real time by using Amazon Redshift Spectrum, which allows us to run advanced queries and gain valuable insights from our data.

Amazon DocumentDB does not have built-in support for connecting and integrating with services outside the AWS environment, and Configuring and managing Amazon ElastiCache can be complex for new user

AWS documentDB is very easy to setup and configure JSON doc database.it is highly scalable and can encrypt clusters using keys which is very helpful. During my role as an intern in the company, we implemented the aws document db to store data and scaled it as per the firm requirments. also, it was very consistent, and aws support was beneficial during our project implementation.

AWS documented was very useful and performed really well but the main drawback was lack of multi-region support, which AWS can and should fix going forward; other than that, AWS document DB is as good as it can get

The main problem we faced was storing our JSON data and other files which needed to be encrypted, Hence AWS document DB was our perfect choice as we demonstrated its ability to encrypt data in our Final year project and used its same feature as an intern in our company.
