I like that it is not intrusive and can account well for in person meetings. The setting to be able to allow people to schedule that easily is really nice.

I think it'd be nice to be able to integrate with mobile devices easier, possibly taking in more signals.

It's helping us have better conversations about productivity and efficiency.

I like the categories they have, such as Productivity trends and Daily Work Metrics.

I also like the classifications of the webpages.

Sometimes the tracking is not as real as I'd like; it shows less or more time than it is.

Viewing all employee productivity

The productivity reports are the main reason we keep using it. Active vs. idle time, top applications, and after-hours activity are all included without me having to build anything custom, and exporting those reports for leadership only takes a few minutes.

ActivTrak can improve by increasing the user limits included in each plan.

We are doing a hybrid work schedule for some of our workforce. Going hybrid left us without a read on how work was actually distributed. Some people were quietly underwater while others had room. ActivTrak surfaced that at the team level, which let us rebalance instead of waiting for someone to burn out and say speak up.

ActivTrak has helped us prevent abuse of remote work and prevented stay alive devices that are not to be used on our systems.

The productivity reporting and categorization of those groups is still a bit cumbersome.

ActivTrak has removed the guess work from whether or not a staff member is being productive. The reporting, combined with direct screenshots, removes all gray areas.

Tracking website usage and " on and off" the laptop time has been very beneficial to our org. Managers often question rather or not an employee is "online", this software helps with that better that looking though audit logs in Azure

The way it allows you to use Entra groups is good but if you dont know what you are doing or if your structure is wrong it will pull in the wrong people or none at all.

We are a remote company and with this comes the needs to track the activity of our end users. This helps us see what they are doing, when and for how long. This gives our managers a peace of mind knowing that their employees are working and not slacking off.

I like how ActivTrak gives visibility into different types of behaviors, allowing me to mentor those specific things. As a manager, I appreciate the weekly email that provides trends, helping me monitor my team's activity, especially looking for unexpected changes. When there is a drop in activity and I'm not aware of anyone being out, it prompts me to check further. Additionally, from what I've seen, the setup is pretty straightforward, and it seems fairly easy to integrate if updates are needed.

I just don't log in to it enough. So maybe a little bit more detail in that weekly email would be helpful.

What I like best about ActivTrak is the visibility we get when employees are working remotely, as on occasion they will need to do so and borrow a company laptop. It's easy to understand AND visualize how work is getting done without us having to constantly check-in, which may feel uncomfortable for our employees. We were not expecting so much utility out of something like this, so being able to see their productivity trends, time spent on tasks, application usage etc. was a wealth of information to have on hand. Being able to ensure accountability without micromanaging is really the best aspect of ActivTrak. Additionally, the UI is simple enough to learn and navigate which is always a plus.

In our case, since it is mostly for occasional remote work situations, there's been a bit of a learning curve when figuring out how to best us all the features ActivTrak comes with. Some reports and data were a little tricky to interpret at first.

It helps solve the lack of visibility that comes with remote work, especially when this work-setup is only temporary, and it saves me time and effort by giving quick insight into what is getting done, so that I don't have to follow-up constantly.

I like the snapshot view of activities in ActivTrak. It helps us understand what websites our team uses often and also tells us how much time our associates spend on each site. Tracking of productivity works well, allowing us to identify areas needing improvement and understand our technology use. The initial setup was very easy.

ActivTrak adds a user each time our IT admin sets up a new computer for a new user. So in this scenario, the IT admin counts as an additional user when it isn't the case.
