There's definitely a learning curve to grasp all the available features, but once you've identified what works best for your business, the platform becomes quite intuitive. I've been using WIX since August 2025 and have been particularly impressed with the web design flexibility, AI-driven social media post creation, and embedded Google Ads for traffic generation. That said, there's still much more to explore.
One important consideration: many features operate on an add-on basis and require additional subscriptions beyond the base plan. The modular approach gives you flexibility, but it's worth factoring into your budget planning.

Honestly, the platform is fairly easy to use, but my business coach, years ago, had a tutorial on HOW to make the most of Wix via my specific business and how to make it more attractive to my target audience, and THAT is what really did me in. The user ability of the platform has given me 6 years of ease to update info, pricing, change the business address...simple things when someone else is hosting or building your site is so often so hard to do. But the success overall at what is attracting is because wix made it easy for someone smarter than me to make me a tutorial specific to my industry and now I can handle and build it all myself.

Really easy system to navigate.

I've been using Wix to run my Online Watercolour School for nearly six years and I've been really pleased with the way I am able to control the look and function of my site without any in-depth knowledge of computing or coding. Designing my site was made easy with the use of handy templates ~ much of the process is quite intuitive to anyone who has fairly basic computer skills. There are lots of features that are available as add-ons too which means I've been able to create a personalised/tailored website. I use the CMS (Content Management System) a lot for uploading video tutorials and this is easy to navigate and I can upload and store large files (you need to be on a premium plan for this) but even when I first started on the basic plan I could do pretty much all I needed. The Wix help is good and I have used the online chat function when needed ~ I can't think of a time when they did not resolve any queries or issues I had.

All in all a good experience ~I would recommend them especially if you are just starting out and don't know where to start!
