Volgisifics is very simple and easy to use! It has a lot of flexibility with the customizations and what can be selected!

It sometimes is hard to generate the exact reports you want due to the cumbersome amounts of criteria allotted.

It captures all of our students on site at our medical facility and the hours they are on site.

Tracking volunteer hours, health screenings, flu shots, birthdays. The big one is that volunteers are able to schedule themselves. Especially nice for on call opportunities like baby rocking.

I like that I can make postings and volunteers are in charge of joining. Likewise, when they have served, we don't request that they sign in and out. They are likewise in charge of signing into their entrance and logging their own hours. The database is really simple to utilize and refresh as required.

only I wish it had greater capacity to follow volunteer training that are expected sporadically and tell volunteers naturally as the due date approaches.

This is incredible for volunteer tasks that record hours. I prescribe this product to any individual who needs to deal with countless.

With this product, we have had the option to move far from paper documents and applications for our volunteers, keep itemized notes on collaborations and occurrences that have happened with our volunteers, and have had the option to all the more likely handle the progression of onboarding volunteers. With Volgistics, we have streamlined our regulatory work and had the option to achieve more with less - most remarkably, we have had the option to dispose of quite a bit of our departmental information passage, and are investigating new ways that we can utilize Volgistics.

The calendar layout is easy to navigate. Also great for seeing how the rest of the team is scheduled.

Its difficult to switch between screens (calendar and assignments).

Volgistics has robust reporting capabilities, along with volunteer scheduling, service history, tracking volunteer achievements/trainings, etc.

I wish it were a little more robust/user-friendly in certain areas. For example, there are so many reporting capabilities but it can take a little while to figure out how to filter everything properly to get what you are looking for. It would be amazing if some reports were more built-in. I also wish it had more capability to track volunteer trainings that are due sporadically and notify volunteers automatically as the deadline approaches.

Volgistics is great for all aspects of volunteer management. As someone who used to have to track volunteer information and schedules manually (i.e. paper calendar and excel spreadsheets), I truly believe a program like Volgistics is indispensible for non-profits that utilize a volunteer workforce.

Volgistics helped my organization move away from paper files and applications and into the digital space, providing us with a concise, easy to use, powerful volunteer database.

Sometimes a little clunky to use and there is a learning curve, but the help videos are useful. Other than the videos and articles, support doesn't seem to be readily available. Can sometimes take quite some time (more than two days) to hear back from support when we have a questions about how to use Volgistics in a particular way. Reporting capabilities are fine for our purposes, but could be more powerful and can sometimes be tricky - we have had to play around with the settings to get the information we actually want.

We have used Volgistics to move away from paper files and applications for our volunteers, keep detailed notes on interactions and incidents that have occurred with our volunteers, and have been able to better handle the flow of onboarding volunteers. With Volgistics, we have streamlined our administrative work and been able to accomplish more with less - most notably, we have been able to eliminate much of our departmental data entry, and are in the process of exploring new ways that we can use Volgistics.

It is very advantageous to our organization that volunteers access to their own volunteer portal to manage their own schedule and hour tracking. We do not have to worry about getting in contact with individuals in order to build a schedule. We create listings and volunteers are responsible for signing up. Also, when they have served, we do not ask them to sign in and out. They are also responsible for logging into their portal and logging their own hours.

We piloted the use of Volgistics within one department of our institution and are trying to roll it out to additional departments. Some of the features are not conducive to use by multiple departments, each with unique needs. We may need to begin a whole separate subscription.

Requires a little bit of time investment in the beginning for users with no database experience. However, even inexperienced admins can probably figure out set-up thanks to the elaborate help tutorials and videos.

I loved the ease of scheduling my volunteers and my volunteers loved the ease of tracking their hours.

Volgistics is an exceptional program. My organization had over 300 volunteers a year and Volgistics made scheduling a breeze and keeping accurate records so simple. It also was great from a safety standpoint!

A lot of the built in functions meet very basic requirements for running a volunteer program. There is no need to get add ons or additional items built to work with the software.

The reporting mechanism is clunky and does not always work as intuitively as I would have liked.
