Ultra Tax A great tool to help with your tax headaches
What do you like best about UltraTax CS?
I love that Ultra Tax integrates with the other Thompson Retuers applications that all a great flow through of information. The intergrations saved a lot of data entry time. I also love that information can rollover from year to year once it is used for more than one year.
What do you dislike about UltraTax CS?
Ultra Tax can be complicated becasue of the all the features it has. The features are awesome but you have to learn the software and its capabalities.
What problems is UltraTax CS solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ultra Tax allows us to manage all of our tax returns in one place. The rollover features are very benifical. Ultra tax also allows for the processing of many return types and mult states.

What do you like best about UltraTax CS?
UltraTax is very helpful because of its ease of use and everything that is included with the program.
What do you dislike about UltraTax CS?
The only downside to UltraTax CS is that the platform seems to be outdated and I think it could be updated as far as the appearance etc.
What problems is UltraTax CS solving and how is that benefiting you?
UltraTax CS is providing us with everything necessary we need in order to run our business smoothly.

Love love love UltraTax
What do you like best about UltraTax CS?
Intuitiveness, being able to find input from the form.
What do you dislike about UltraTax CS?
Not much. I love Fixed Assets! Fixed Assets can do so much compared to other programs I've used.
What problems is UltraTax CS solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fixed Asset tracking. Wonderful wizard for tracing asset classification.

Time-Saving Tax Software
What do you like best about UltraTax CS?
User friendly. Easy to learn. Customer Service is great.
What do you dislike about UltraTax CS?
It is pretty expensive. Sometime UT has technical difficulties at the worse time.
What problems is UltraTax CS solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a great software to complete tax returns. I love being able to proforma over each year.

With my last 5 years experience I found this one of the best software to prepare tax returns.

Server issues and due to that need to wait for so long.

Easy for input and check output of the software is also very good,

What do you like best about UltraTax CS?
What I like best is how easy to use Ultra Tax CS is, it is very user friendly and easy to navigate. I enjoy being able to catogize information and click through diffrent tabs to enter in information.
What do you dislike about UltraTax CS?
What I dislike about Ultra Tax CS? Currently there is nothing that I dislike. It is working well. No complaints.
Recommendations to others considering UltraTax CS?
I would definitely recommend Ultra Tax CS to other accountants. It is a great tax software to use.
What problems is UltraTax CS solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ultra Tax CS makes doing tax returns simple. It is easy to use and navigate. It helps me insure that all my tax returns are accurate because I can easily go back through and check all my numbers.

Ease of use. The program is very intuitive and finding help is convenient.

Sometimes it can be slow when processing data.

Quicker way to file returns and having access to the form view to compare where the data you're using is being reported. Intuitive, easy to use.

Ultra Tax- Best way to process returns
What do you like best about UltraTax CS?
I love how quick it is to file returns on these programs. I work in a small accounting firm and during tax season Ultra Tax is our go-to program to file tax returns. I learned very quickly and have been able to train my assistant up front on using this program as well.
What do you dislike about UltraTax CS?
nothing inconvenient to me regarding this program. There are sometimes issues with it freezing but other than that, no issues.
Recommendations to others considering UltraTax CS?
No recommendations, its a great program that makes filing very quick and easy. Very great program for both a small office and a big office setting.
What problems is UltraTax CS solving and how is that benefiting you?
No issues at this time. I can see how it might not be too user friendly at first, but as soon as you read the how to's and have practice it definitely gets easier and like I said is very convenient for people like me in an accounting firm to file tax returns quickly and efficiently.
