Trend Micro TippingPoint provides a security management system. It ensures the safety and protection of my system. The performance is generally good.

Its advanced threat protection solution lacks differentiation, which reduces its usefulness for us.

Trend Micro TippingPoint solves the problem of cybersecurity by providing a user interface. This simplifies navigation through security measures and safeguards our data.

Trend Micro TippingPoint is an intrusion prevention systems (IPS) solution used for advanced threat protection to maximize security effectiveness. In TippingPoint IPS & IDS are configured. The good part is that this is GUI based, and all functionalities can be done using UI.

There are no such points to be mentioned which I dislike aboutTrend Micro TippingPoint

Trend Micro TippingPoint provides security protection and helps detect vulnerabilities, and inbound & outbound network traffic, filters them, and blocks security threats.

Trend Micro offers a wide variety of products depending on your security needs

I have not found anything that I do not like about this product

Protecting all my devices against potential security threats. We are in the process of switching over because our last product could not handle all of our security needs

Support on call which help immediately check potential risk and provide patch to remediation

Not exactly but sometimes waiting for ticket to acknowledge is bit not good

In my past organization Trend micro was introduced for any threat like ransomware virus like Locky or Cryptowall that encrypts files on a compromised computer and demands a ransom in return for a decryption code. we have been saved by this tool to loose our organization data

Incredibly easy to deploy and manage. Very good GUI and information, basically runs itself as long as it has the proper connection. We run this on our production environment and it has protected us from countless malicious and phishing attacks. We moved from a competitor that was not doing a good job of protecting us from real time threats without requiring admin intervention which is not feasible with our size.

The ability for admins to pause protection for short spans in case it conflicts with other installations could be smoother. I would like to be able to disable and have it restart at certain times without having to circle back around and automated tasks to a large pool of servers is not feasible. Creates a labor intensive job, although it is rare that this needs to happen.

Roll it in small test batches at a time to ensure no other conflicts. Remove existing av first!

We are protecting our servers from Phishing, malicious payloads and other threats such as ransomeware. This as a tiered approach along with white listing, firewalls and a sound patching strategy have protected us.

It’s so simple and does not slow down the archaic computers at my workplace at all.

I do wish the program opened up a bit more quickly after a computer restart

Trend Micro TippingPoint stands out for its user interface. It allows detection and prevention of cyber threats. This has benefited our business by providing peace of mind.

What I like most about trend micro Tripping Point is They have integrated Virtual Patching with IPS and IDS in this solution. Which work very effectively together.

Trend Micro tripping point is a good solution, but it can be better, at least for me, if they work on the Dashboard and reporting. The dashboard should be more interactive, and reports should have some analytics.

I can use trend micro tripping point for Virtual patching and as aIPS and IDS, it solves my below problems :

1. Need not to use and manage multiple solutions

2. Centralized Management and Integration.

Friendly user experience. GUI portal is easy to to use.

Nothing. But need some automatic malicious ips blocking/tracking feature in this product.

We are using it as a Internet Facing IPS solution

Trend Micro TippingPoint is the next-generation IPS solution. In the Trend Micro TippingPoint, we can perform the threat-hunting activity. In TippingPoint, we can create customized traffic management and fine-tune rules and filters per our requirements. The best thing about TippingPoint is that IPS and IDS have configured in it. All the functions are present on GUI; there is no need to go on CLI and type commands.

The Trend Micro TippingPoint has some negative points in it, such as can change in performance and resilience. Sometimes I face an issue that when the network load goes high, the performance goes down and create a latency issue. There is an issue that takes time to open when we restart the computer.

Trend Micro TippingPoint is problem-solving, protecting our server from Phishing, threats (ransomware) and malicious activity.
