I like that it is generally intuitive. Most of the system flows in a way that you can figure something out pretty easily if you're not sure about what to do. I also like that it is interactive with various spending metrics and reports.

Some things can be difficult to figure out in the reporting area. I wish the report generator wasn't as cumbersome as it can be when creating reports from scratch. I also wish there was a function to skip the billing guideline reviewer and go straight to the primary approver on an invoice.

We are able to easily keep track of our legal spending, and the information is always readily available. It benefits me because I can provide it to our general counsel right away when asked, and it makes me look competent in my role.

The program is very intuitive and geared towards the helping the corporate company get the best value for the work the law firm is providing. It also has a lot of features that the corporate client can use or not use and tweak these features to best fit their needs.

It is hard to reach customer service. When you have a difficult issue communicating back and forth via email is difficult. Also, when getting one on one trainings they are traditionally set up for just 30 minutes. Its really hard to get things accomplished that quickly over teams.

They are streamlining the billing process between law firms and the corporate client. I am responsible for maintaining the budget for my corporate client and having all of the invoices in one place and being able to see the spend on each matter, by firm, and narrow it down in many different ways is really helpful.

I find that when we initially set up our system in Duck Creek, sometimes it doesn't transfer over to Legal Tracker right away.

When setting up a vendor, I find the currency conversion process somewhat confusing. However, to be fair, this isn't a feature I use regularly.

The ability to track spend and stay on budget. Specific matters can be created with budgets and approved rates, allowing for total transparency between the business and law firm. The new AI feature also alerts duplicative line items to allow for quick and easy review and with the addition of Outside Counsel Guideline alerts, reviewing invoices can be a quick and painless task, especially when review should be performed at least weekly. I recently connected Legal Tracker with our IP docketing software and now new matters are created seamlessly, nightly and I no longer have to take time out of my day.

RFP functionality. It would be very helpful if there was a template functionality that could be sent to the firms, rather than more of an outside process.

Spend and if we are on budget. I need to be able to generate spend on a moments notice, and Legal Tracker allows me to do just that.
