I really appreciate ThinPrint's support team. They're small, but they are always there when I need them, and I've never had a bad experience with them. They've been incredibly helpful, especially when I needed to rebuild our ThinPrint from scratch. No issue was too complicated for them to solve. ThinPrint also integrates very well with our Citrix VDA environment, and it's seamless for the users—they haven't had any issues with it. I find the initial setup very straightforward; downloading, installing, and configuring components like the license server and ThinPrint ports was easy. The product performs substantially better for us than previous solutions like Citrix Universal Printing, offering reliable performance for our needs.

One issue that I came across was the event log that ThinPrint provides doesn't really explain why two print servers are not communicating with each other. This kinda gets in my path of completing my ThinPrint server refresh.

ThinPrint provides load balancing, enables printing to remote sites, and includes a built-in printer driver.

We've been using Thin Print for many years and it's a great printer solution we use across 80+ sites and have hundreds of printers. We don't often have to use support as it just works but when we do, they have been extremely professional and easy to deal with. It's easy to use for both an Administrator and User point of view.

No negatives, I've just recently needed to use their support and they responded extremely quickly, and got the issues resolved.

Printer management is extremely hard when you have as many printers as we do and this takes the admin work right out. Users just want to print and Admins don't want to be touching printers all the time. Thin Print makes this happen.

Ease of use once set up and very reliable.

Little difficult to get set up innitially.

Driverless printing. Printing to remote sites where bandwidth constraints apply Extremely happy with Thinprint.

Once set up, the solution works without problems for a long time! And if there ever is a problem, the support always helps quickly and competently!

Particularly when employing zero or thin clients within private cloud computing setups its ability to automatically and instantly provision the desired printer for thousands of user's VM ensures printing is always seamless. This capability represents its most significant advantage over other solutions.

I hope to see expanded support for Linux clients in the near future.

This has been very helpful in resolving the challenge of using zero clients, which present critical security concerns, while still ensuring easy and convenient printing.

ThinPrint is solving several key problems related to network printing and print management, which provides various benefits: Efficient Print Management, Optimized Printing Performance, Enhanced Security, etc.

ThinPrint centralizes and simplifies our printer setup and management. Overall we have had WAY fewer printing and printer problems of all sorts since we started using ThinPrint. We also how have visibility of who is printing what to where.

ThinPrint's setup is a bit involved and uses some unfamiliar techniques that you will have to learn - especially if you want to use their reporting/tracking tool. Accessing advanced features of printers can sometimes be challenging. It can be difficult to troubleshoot... when a computer or user doesn't get connected to the printers it's supposed to it can be frustrating trying to figure out why. The logging/reporting engine is a separate add-on installation that changes the way you configure the ports for your ThinPrint printers.

Note that if you use VMware Horizon you must be mindful or some potential conflicts with the Horizon Agent's built-in printing features (because it already uses ThinPrint technologies, and introducing full ThinPrint will butt heads with the built-in stuff). This is manageable, but you need to be aware of this. You'll need to uninstall the VMware Remote Printing feature of the Agent -- that's all.

We had begun having driver conflict/corruption issues from our Windows print servers that proved challenging or impossible to resolve. We also had to way to measure or report on the use of our printers.

The ease of use, plug in your Thinprint hub, a little configuration and printing in no time, remote or office based no problem for Thinprint.

The only downside was the print server configuration we required.

Prior to Thinprint we had intermittent success with printing, now we know once we hit print the document will print.

It removed the need to manage maintenance of different printer drivers on the session host. Improved printing speeds by almost 10 times. Installation is quite easy.

Nothing much. However, the product team may consider a more seamless way to do migration of licenses between servers when we have to retire old servers. Currently we would need to reach out to the licensing team to do the transfer.

Thin print would be the right toll if you are faced with latency challenges for printing from a virtualized or remote environment. It's also a good tool for print management.

Printing from our production environment on Azure was huge challenge due to latency of connection and due to maintenance of printer drivers on each session host. ThinPrint provided a simple solution for these challenges.

With first class support (which is rarely required) ThinPrint just works for our custom ERP integration enabling direct printing from our remote business systems regardless if they are on premise or cloud based.

Its seamless and super fast regardless of the type of documents we print, product labels, shipping labels and plain old business documents. The all just just print perfectly.

We'd love to see ThinPrint support Linux servers as not everybody uses Windows domains in this day and age.
