Big corporations have a lot of different department, sometimes it is hard to find the right person for questions. Starmind helps with that.

Its a great tool for those to shy to ask others in person

None. Benefits are not only receiving answers to my questions but being able to view others questions that I never knew I was curious about myself. and to see how involved everyone is!

I can get quick support from experts in domain where I know no-one, and this support is then available for everyone else. So if someone already asked for the same as I, I can find answer to my question in already answered questions.

It works similarly like helpdesk/support in our corporate, but seems like much more efficiently, without creating unnecessary overhead, and also quicker. Because it directly notifies an expert in relevant domain if a question is asked.

Can't really find a disadvantage of this. I also personally contribute as an expert in my own field. Perhaps the searching can be enhanced with filtering options.

Starmind has already made my work life easier and more effective many times. It is especially helpful in corporate worlds, where it makes solving non-standard issues in more efficient way.

It's user friendly. there is no one else to lead me how to use it, i could run and search my questions via it succesfully. The page is simple but efficiency when i want to find the answers.

But the best part is, it's really good when you are a freshman in the company or if you are in the new position and want to know more information about your business. you can search the answers with key words, the latest information will make you to work independently.

it's really good when it's a big worldwide company just like me, the teammates will share the knowledge, training, useful material ,etc. to make the things you want to know go smoothly.

It's anonymous and simple to use tool for all types of users. It attracts user to come and contribute and ask questions because of how it has been setup. I believe everyone is different and finds different ways to learn new things. And, starmind gives one good option for people to learn things through asking any type of questions which can help their perspectives immensely.

My personal belief is in today's world where most of the teams work globally working in different locations at different time zones, knowledge risk can be mitigated in a efficient way but also more impactful (because human being become more powerful in their own roles the moment they start getting perspectives and answers from starmind can be more than just an answer)

Sometimes, the freedom that starmind gives can make people use the tool for the random comments as well but I would like to be optimistic and looking at the larger good impact, it should be fine but can be managed.

Starmind is easy to use and can be used on my mobile device

Since I am just starting with Starmind, I have not fully evaluated it if I have things I do not like about it

As in google, I can ask any question about any process in any of the our departments and it would be answered by someone, making knowledge readily available to everyone. It is really fostering continuous learning, knowledge sharing, curiosity.

more analytic dashboards would help to understand the knowledge gaps that could be addressed with more training.

Less time for the user in looking for experts avoiding to get stuck in email trails.

Starmind enables me to ask questions, even when I dont know who is the expert for that question. It also helps me to find answers, before even asking my question.

Without proper acceptance of the tool in your company, the benefit of it will be small if not zero.

Starmind is good when you need someone with deep knowledge of something but you dont know where to find this someone. It also helps at discussing everyday topics.
