I love how easy it is to move around information, edit cell & columns and color cordinante your sheets.

The formulas are the thing I dislike the most. Since I have been using Excel for years and still do use Excel, it is hard to know how to formulate in SS. I feel like I need to re-teach myself each time.

Keeping track of projects and their progress has been a game changer for us since everything updates in real time. I also like to use it for my personal tasks to make sure I don't let things fall through the cracks.

Smartsheet's streamlined project management, collaboration features, workflow automation, customization options, centralized visibility, and seamless integration with third-party applications make it a powerful and comprehensive solution for modern businesses.

In our usecase, we are using Smartsheet in everyday work routines and find features such as Dynamic View make for easy use with non-Smartsheet users.

Some users have found the platform to have a steeper learning curve, especially when setting up advanced features or custom workflows. That said, the Smartsheet community and Smartsheet universtiy are excellent resources to quickly get familiar with the platform

The ability to assign tasks per row. Built in calendar reminders to be sent to users

Task management is probably the most used function my company benefits from Smartsheet.

Still don't give me all the functionality that a excell document provides.

Collaboration is made possible through many users, creating a life environment where we have immediate access to what the current status of our assets is in regards to legal compliance.

I like how easy it is to work smartsheet and to input all of the information I need to. It is very easy to figure out how to navigate smartsheet which makes my work day process run more smoothly.

I dislike how often smartsheet freezes up and doesn't save things properly. There are a lot of times where it is super slow which slows down my process.

If you are looking for a place to input information for your company and are looking for it to be easy then this is the site for you.

There are no problems that I am solving. The benefits are that I can keep all of the information in one place and everyone else has access too.

It is so easy to create and utilize workflow automation that makes my job easier. Writing rules, formulas, and conditional formatting has never been simpler. It is just as easy to create a complex and thorough project plan with Gantt chart as it is to build a simple task manager. While you can invest as much time as you want into learning all the ins and outs that Smartsheet has to offer, it has a low barrier to implement and integrate into your daily worklife.

The two things that would make Smartsheet even better would be to mass update rules/configurations across multiple sheets at a time, and have additional personalization options when creating Reports.

Smartsheet does the work of keeping track of thousands of data points and automatically reminding business users to close out their tasks. If that functionality didn't exist, I would spend all my workday trying to follow up with people to know the status of their tasks.

I have to admit this is the first projects management tools I have used as the organization is pushing for it.

I like the best is that several of your team members can share the progress on the project. As a manager, you can easily track the progress without talking to the teammates. In academia, we usually track the progress by in person casual meet (before offical group meeting) rather than use a tool to track it. Now, it is more convenienet than before.

Some of the functions are not intuitively easy to implement. You have to learn through lots of video or take trainings.

Smartsheet is really user friendly, and a perfect "stepping stone" tool if you are working on getting better in Excel. It's great for project management because you can track/assign tasks to others, apply filters when sifting through large amounts of data, and organize your sheets in a way that best accomodates your learning modality or reading preferences. For example, the calendar view feature is an excellent way to get the "big picture" for due dates. While I have not needed customer support, I have received emails from our account representative checking in, so it's nice to know we have support if needed. Smartsheet is always sending out user tips and tricks emails, as well as invitations to webinars. The webinars are always helpful and usually showcase a way to further optimize your workflows. Using Smartsheet has helped me increase my confidence in expanding my knowledge of Excel. There are so many features and functions in Excel, you could never stop learning something new! Smartsheet helps you build that foundational knowledge and get you comfortable with organizing data in many different ways.

None, Hyperlinking in cells sometimes funky but overall have not experienced any notable issues.
