UX could use some improvement. There are a few bugs with reports occasionally.

Smartocto provides our newsroom with invaluable insights into what our readers care about and how they interact with our content. From decisions on what topics to cover to providing great feedback about the performance of individual authors, smartocto is a key tool for building our content strategy.

First of all it is pretty easy to use for the most parts. The implementation was easy on the customer side, and the insights which are generated are great.

Some user could get lost in the metrics. Especially the CPI Perspectives can be hard to understand.

It helps the editorial team to get more data driven. It offers great insights on the content and gives the users suggestions what to do next. So it brings data2action

I think Smartocto is by far the best tool to use data for an editorial team. Due to the substantive knowledge (and passion) for journalism, there is a product that has been thought about and with which we work more and more frequently. Due to the theoretical addition of the user needs, smartocto is the most important partner for us in developing and validating our online strategy. Five big stars for Smartocto

I have no specific criticisms. The parts that we need to improve have more to do with the internal implementation than with the product itself.

A better insight into the performance of articles. But also because of the clear presentation a quick and relevant picture of where we stand. The notifications are also useful and already work as important reminders if we overlook things.

Het leukste is: resultaat ervan zien; ervaren dat dit geen tool is die "van bovenaf|" wordt opgelegd, maar die makers van binnenuit ertoe aanzet beter te presteren. Daarmee is Smartocto een gereedschap dat er daadwerkelijk voor zorgt dat je met elkaar als redactie verder komt.

De aanbevelingen die per artikel worden gemaakt, zijn soms te voor-de-hand-liggend. Dat is geen halszaak, want gaandeweg hebben we de andere voordelen ontdekt. Verder is heel veel wel leuk aan Smartocto -)

Het (anders) ontbreken van inzicht in verhalen die we kunnen (en moeten) maken en hoe we die verhalen het best op hun weg naar het publiek kunnen volgen.
