What I love most about ScreenRec is its ease of use. The app is really lightweight and takes up no space on my computer. Once downloaded, all I had to do was press Alt+S to start the app, drag and drop to select my screen and start recording. Unlike other apps I’ve tried, I can record audio from my computer and my mic and add a webcam overlay. But the interface is so simple that I can enable and disable all of this from the very clean interface.

ScreenRec is nearly perfect! The only slight (very slight) drawback is the fact that I cannot pause while recording. I can only start and stop.

If you manage a remote team or you yourself are a remote worker, I would highly advise you to add ScreenRec to your list of apps. With its automatic shareable link, you can easily record memos, tutorials, explanations, or take screenshots of any and everything and copy and paste the link anywhere. It’s the easiest way to communicate with anyone, no matter where they are in the world.

The biggest issue I faced with working with remote teams was being able to communicate swiftly. We used to have to write up long emails back and forth or send chat messages that could only explain but so much. The ScreenRec workflow is so fluent, I can make videos to explaine small configurations or show the power of some sofware, in a few minuts in silence or with microphone voice record.

You can select the microphone, that is usefull in the moment that you have more than one audio in system.

When you end your record, in a few seconds you can: Save the rec or share by mail or some others apps.

Only in a few times the time limitation for the videos is to short, but in 90% of cases is not necesary more than 5 min.

I don't like, when, if you haven't microphone and you select the whole screen area for the video, in the first seconds apears a pop up, saying that you don't have any microphone.

Thats obligates you, cut in postproduction the first seconds of the video, making your workflow slower.

I'm using this software to create small videotutorials for the users of my compane, to help them with the adaptation and the manage of new problems of teleworking, implantated with the Covid-19 situation.

Screenrec, makes my work easier. In the past I do the manuals with screenshots in a PDF document, the work flow to do this is slower than record a video.

And the users can found in our server folder all the tutorials to take immediatly suport to manage the recurrent problems.

I am using it for 9 months and I feel it is nice, not because it is free but because it is easy to use plus you can just copy image after screenshot and save a video of 5 minutes easily. I use it as QAE to keep all the errors.

There are pros and cons to every application but as per the market it's acceptable in a few cases in this case, the negative thing about this application is if due for any reason it fails then no error is shown user just keeps trying which is terrible.

This application is good as it is helping me to easily copy and paste into google sheets, Trello, and other platforms and is quite easy to use as other applications always focus to open their platform but it doesn't.

SreenRec is a lite, easy to use and free screen recording and screenshot software out there. Just create an account and it is ready to use. It works flawlessly on slow PCs. Also, you can share the recorded videos easily on your social media accounts with just a click.

ScreenRec has only 2 recording qualities, SD and HD. If they offer various resolutions to choose from, it would have been great.
