SchoolMint makes simplifies the enrollment process for families.

During the onboarding can be a bit tedious.

SchoolMint will allow for lottery, enrollment, and re-enrollment in the same place.

Now that we have used it for a year the features make so much more sense. I love being able to take notes on student accounts and tagging people.

Application packets do not show the student grade, and that would be extremely helpful

I love that it is user friendly and clean. Love that we can use on a computer, tablet or phone as well as the language options.

The initial set up of the application and is a bit confusing at first but now I see where it can be improved in the future.

Tracking of students is much easier as well as the multilingual communication with parents is clean

I like the live support chat feature, this has been extremely helpful as I'm trying to help 15 administrative assistants navigate through the system.

It would be nice if SchoolMint had more languages they could translate the applications into and also training videos for parents in different languages. We have also got a request for a SchoolMint app.

Make sure whoever is implementing the SchoolMint system that the person understands the school's enrollment process.

We are now able to organize our student data better and communicate with our families.

The platform was easy to use and the customer service was fantastic. Whenever I had a question my Implementation Specialist was ready to answer it, and when we had special cases it seemed like the whole team was ready to figure out what would be the best approach to our unique situation.

There are some features in the site that could work better, but again the team was great at helping us figure out a workaround. Like we needed to have two different lotteries (in-district and out-of-district), so the workaround was to create a "second school" and this allowed us to set up two different lotteries. Another thing was when setting up messages to be sent out later, you cannot go back and edit, so I'm glad we saved templates of emails and we could update that and set it up to send to the later time we wanted. Again none of these things are dealbreakers, but I would love to see them being updated.

We use SchoolMint for our lottery registration, re-enrollment, and new enrollment. It was great to be able to do all these things on one site.

We like the following aspect of SchoolMint

- Application Dashboard has been useful to view where we stand in regards to application status

- Application Index and the filters have been easy to manage through the different filter

- Communications via email and text have been a great tool for us because we can send registration to reminded to families and it has turned positive results.

The following have been some dislikes

- There is no report to pull a combination of all numbers like applications, accepted, reg. in progress, completed, verified, waitlist, and open seats. I pull this data one status at a time and I wish I could pull all this information all at once for our network of 15 schools.

- Accounts with Application, we wish to remove some of the accounts but it is not possible.

One of our goals this was to have a faster turn around with registrations. The plan that we had in place before Covid and the place that was placed after I don't it corresponded with our goal. In plan A we were going to use the "Manage Offer Expirations" but because of Covid we felt the need to be more patient with our families was best.

The application was simple for parents to use and understand. We had very few problems but when we did have problems, the support was always provided in a timely manner.

The most difficult part of the process proved to be the sign up for the testing but I know that SchoolMint will address this concern in our next application process.

We are using SchoolMint for our application for magnet schools, specialized programs, and school choice. The lottery is simple to run and operate. The support is incredibly helpful and efficient.

The customer service and support from Hannah was amazing. Her guidance made the process easy to follow and complete.

According to my experience, there is nothing that I dislike about the software.

With SchoolMint we were able to conduct the process without any errors.

We are a brand new school. We needed to collect student data and transfer it to our SIS. It truly does set your school up for success. Plus, transferring the data to your SIS is quite easy.
