PROS: I have just started my business and was looking for a suitable entry level CRM system with robust features. I checked out all the popular CRM apps but they did not seem suitable for my needs. Then I came across Really Simple Systems and the free version impressed me. The paid features are robust which makes the app scalable and the pricing too is reasonable.
CONS: There are no visible minus points. I had a little trouble learning to customize fields, but on the whole the system is pretty intuitive.
PROS: RSS fits my needs perfectly. You can customize it to your requirements and it saves the cost of investing in an expensive big system. The pricing structure ensures you buy only what you need and the free trial gives you the chance to check beforehand if the app has the features you need.
CONS: I have no complaints at all as the software meets my expectations. The customer support and the pricing model are excellent. I have no issues with RSS.
PROS: It's simple easy to use layout with flexibility in the choice of what you can display to view your actions and sales funnel
CONS: It doesn't allow you to book the length of a meeting, only the start time but not the finish
PROS: I researched many web-based CRM software and selected Really Simple Systems because of its interface, screen layouts, and presented data. The app is not cluttered and helps me track my sales opportunities. The software meets my simple needs which are to keep track of my prospects, get reminders for follow-ups with clients, and keep track of my opportunities.
CONS: There are no visible drawbacks that I can point fingers at though I am still a relatively new user. I suggested them to add pushed emailed reminders for due tasks and they replied that they were going to add this feature in the future.

I would like an app, Would like to go back to the exact space I am in after reviewing an account rather than it goes back to the beginning
I can quickly input my calls, tasks, and activities, hit the save button, and then go back and change if necessary. It is a very easy system to use
I love the way you can see what others have said to the students
I dislike that you can't call from the system.
People who are looking into really simple systems should know it is an easy-to-use system. Also, reaching out to students is a breeze with this system.
The problem that RRS is solving communication issues and guessing when it comes to the student.
PROS: Very simple CRM system that is effective and easy to customize to just about any size business.
CONS: None that I use
PROS: The responsive RSS customer support agents helped us to customize our user interface.
CONS: Our company is based in the US and RSS is based in the UK. They do not have a US support branch and do not provide 24/7 support. Sometimes, this delays their response to our support issues.
We have adapted the CRM system to meet our team's needs, the RSS support team has been brilliant in helping us with this. We always get a friendly and timely response.
The facility to track an opportunity, link it to a campaign and progress it to a sale has been invaluable as a sales tool. This has enabled us to evaluate our campaigns and work on improving them.
The reporting enables management to have visibility of the hard work the sales team are putting in. We can establish our best sales methods, for example outgoing calls versus email success rate to ensure we are using the sales teams time to the most benefit to the company.
We have also used the the win/loss reports to enable us to develop products to met market needs. Identifying why we have lost an opportunity has helped us identify and prioritise any product development required. It has also helped us review our pricing strategy.
We have struggled with the marketing module and found the new release not as flexible as the original. As we have an existing branding style we did struggle to transition to the RSS marketing tool, with RSS support's help we managed it with HTML. However the new release of the marketing module has removed the functionality we were using. We are working through the issues we have, however more warning on the fundamental changes to our marketing emails would have been appreciated. We offered to be part of the testing during the development of the module, but this didn't come to fruition, in hindsight it would have been really help for us if we could have had some insight in to what was being developed.
As a manager using the reporting tool, the data is only as good as what the team enter. We have had teething problems in ensuring all the team are reporting opportunities correctly. We have developed our own 'CRM Bible' as a training tool. For future development, it would be great if we could add our own specific IAG on screen, to be managed by the adminstrator. This would help ensure all users are inputting the correct data.
On the reporting tool, it is sometimes frustrating that you have to download the report in order to manipulate the data, it would be useful if the onscreen report results could be simply ordered by columns or filtered (rather than fiddling with the report set up each time, or downloading to excel).
RSS is an excellent company to work with; they are helpful and responsive to your company's needs. The sales process was a pleasure, not pushy! We have had no regrets about choosing RSS for our CRM. As a regular user my self I have recommended RSS to friends who have been exploring CRM systems for their businesses.
The CRM has been a great benefit to the sales team for keeping track of leads. As a manager, the reporting tool is vital to my role. Being able to track sales right back to the marketing email has helped us monitor successful and unsuccessful campaigns and develop our marketing emails as a result. The ability to target particular prospects has also increased our success rate.
The task reminders have made working life a lot more organised and time efficient for the team. The notes logging functionality have been helpful when members of the team have changed over. This has also been used by our account managers to develop existing client relationships.
