Sophisticated Meeting Notetaker
A little more pricey than some meeting notetakers, but also one of the most sophisticated ones I've used.

Pros:
- Sentiment, engagement, charisma, talk time, and word per minute analysis.
- Video highlights and trailers in addition to the full video recording.
- Can ask questions about particular meetings or all of your meetings, making it easier to ask questions about entire groups of meetings or finding a meeting you lost.
- Excellent UI

Cons:
- Need to purchase $30 per month plan to have video recordings, and they only go up to 4 hours.
- Transcription is okay but could be a little better
- Site doesn't have dark mode
- Doesn't have the ability to bookmark or tag points in the meeting like Fathom has, but forgivable considering everything Read does way better.

Experienced Read User
I have been using Read for almost a year now. I have read many of the negative reviews. Regarding security, I have inquired about security from the company and got their SOC 2 Type 2 audit results, as well as a lengthy explanation of the security and privacy of my data. They are a fast growing startup, so everything is not perfect, but as a note taking tool and now and AI copilot, I would have trouble living without it.

You had me sold at I don't need to take meeting notes, and you have me as a paying customer when I was able to replace status reports, rescheduled meetings, and catch-ups with me forwarding just the meeting report.

Meet Your Perfect Meeting Assistant
It works great for summarizing my meetings on Zoom, Microsoft, and Google. I joins automatically, sends me notes, and reminds me when follow-up items are due. It's like a personal assistant.

With the defaults, make sure to review, but it's pretty clear from what I can tell.

Just perfect
I can't follow any of the claims done here by other users. I have used this software now for testing and comparing it to other meeting notes applications. I can say that the software has many features and for my personal taste it does best when compared to other solutions. Also the meeting join is not done automatically and you have to approve the application to join your meetings instead but I should mention that you should adjust the settings for this to happen. This is why you should always include an experienced IT Manager to setup services as these and not try this yourself unless you know what you're doing.

2 kinds of concept paper

2 kinds of concept paper
1.Implicit Concept Paper:
⚫Implicit concept paper focuses on storing casual or informal information that traditional model theories may overlook.
-It deals with concepts that are not directly stated but can be inferred from the context or background information presented.
Example: An implicit concept paper about cultural identity may explore subtle nuances and unspoken norms within a particular cultural group, without explicitly defining "cultural identity."
2.Explicit Concept Paper:
•Explicit concept paper aims to clarify a broad range of phenomena by providing detailed and fully expressed explanations.
⚫It implies that explicit concept papers deal with concepts that are clearly defined and explained within the paper, leaving no room for ambiguity.
Example: An explicit concept paper about the greenhouse effect in climate science may provide a clear definition of the greenhouse effect, its causes, mechanisms, and impacts.

Types of concept paper
Academic research concept papers: These are used by students to provide an outline for their prospective research topics. They help students flesh out all the information and ideas related to their topic so that they may arrive at a more specific research hypothesis.
➤ Advertising concept papers: These are written by the creative and concept teams in advertising and marketing agencies. They form the foundation or theme for an advertising campaign or strategy. They discuss who the target audience of the campaign is, what approach of the campaign will be, how the campaign will be implemented, and the projected benefits and impact of the campaign to the company. ➤ Business Concept Paper: Business concept papers are written by entrepreneurs or business professionals to outline new business ideas, products, or services. These papers typically include market analysis, competitive landscape, revenue projections, and implementation plans.
>Policy Concept Paper: Policy concept papers are used in government or public policy settings to propose new policies, regulations, or initiatives to address specific issues or challenges. These papers may include background research, policy objectives, stakeholder analysis, and potential impacts.
> Project Concept Paper: Project concept papers are used to outline new projects or initiatives within organizations or communities. These papers typically include project goals, scope, budget, timeline, and potential risks or challenges.
➤ Research grant concept papers: These are submitted by researchers to funding agencies or organizations to seek support for their research projects. They describe the research problem, the objectives, the significance, the methodology, the expected outcomes, and the budget of the project.

Absolutely abhorrent company
Absolutely abhorrent company. Preys on the less tech-savvy users to intrude and collect data.

What started as an astonishing example of AI ingenuity in one of our meetings that involved a paid user, resulted in insertion into all of our company meetings without consent.

We first experienced Read.AI when a professional consultant joined a teams meeting. Didn't pay much attention to read.AI which joined shortly afterwards, and once the meeting was completed... was pleasantly surprised to receive a transcribed summary of the meeting in email which explained the tone, and summarized the first few interactions.
HOWEVER, in order to read the full meeting minutes, one has to register AND allow full access to the users calendar. I quickly rejected permissions and went on with my day.

Unfortunately another user in the organization was not as informed of the repercussions of this permission request, so before she knew it, read.AI was joining all her Teams meetings.

The worst part about this is that EVERY user in those meetings were receiving the same "Convenient" email summary, seemingly trustworthy on behalf of our organization and being LURED into registering and providing calendar permissions in order to access the report. This creates a chain reaction of intrusive spying and data collection into potentially sensitive meetings while luring in further users and repeating the cycle.

THIS IS DISGUSTING AND DAMAGES THE REPUTATION OF COMPANIES AND VICTIMS OF ITS PREDATORY WORKINGS.
