Overall tool features, their Professional Services team, and the tool's ability to work directly with Salesforce as well as supporting Continuous Integration with Git and Jenkins.
I haven't seen anything that I dislike about Provar and their Professional Services team.
We had been using a homegrown Test Automation Framework with C# and Selenium but we realized it would cost us 10 times the amount to build more of the features that we needed and that Provar had built in. Provar is definitely a cost savings over building a homegrown test automation framework for Salesforce tests. It helps deliver the full Continuous Integration needed to have an efficient software development department.
We needed an automated test regression suite to verify builds and make sure we don't deploy bad code to production. The Automated Test Regression Suite that we built with Provar has quickly identified when the build was broken and saves us an enormous amount of time from having to run regression tests manually.
Very Nice tool for Automated Testing Salesforce.
It loads up the metadata.
It's Fragile but getting better. They are trying to get better with the new features and enhancements.
Running the automated scripts more for the regression and trying to get simulators for mobile testing ready.
We are able to run the Scripts through our CI and get to the tests pass and fail and can fix the tests.
