"Very fast and simple VPN"

What do you like best?

ProtonVPN allows me to use Netflix and Disney Plus from the United States, Great Britain, and Germany (with the Plus plan). This allows me to have a bigger selection and is also very useful if you want Spanish subtitles for some series that are only available in the United States.

What do you dislike?

It is a bit expensive compared to other services. NordVPN has definitely got cheaper plans. Nevertheless, I am willing to pay the surcharge.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Of course, it is never 100% sure that a service does not keep logs, but I am very confident that ProtonVPN does not keep logs thanks to its location in Switzerland and Swiss privacy laws.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I am normally using it to watch Netflix in the United States, allowing me to watch series like The Office that are only available in the US. Apart from that, I also use it if I want to hide my IP address or if I am in a public network that I don't trust.

"Even the Free version works just like the paid version"

What do you like best?

We've tried multiple VPN services, and finally, we are settled with ProtonVPN for a few years now. No restrictions at all. One of the best VPN service providers in the entire universe I guess.

What do you dislike?

We love every bit of the ProtonVPN, Just nothing to complain. Even the free version works just like the paid version.

Usually free vpn are given with low speed, but this proton vpn provides a good speed when compared to other vpn applications and it provides more secure way of payment

"A Excelent VPN"

What do you like best?

The free plan doesn't' have any data caps, Provides plenty of security features and ways to connect using various clients.

What do you dislike?

Only a few locations are available to connect. Application startup time is a bit slow. (I guess due to heavy graphics and UI animations)

"ProtonVPN is the best software in the category of anonymity"

What do you like best?

ProtonVPN has impressive advanced security features and optimal performance. I like that by license it admits up to 5 devices, because that covers the personnel that we use it. In addition, it has Tor servers that are the most anonymous in the world. I am also surprised by the performance of their customer service.

What do you dislike?

It had a problem with its service process, because it remains active even when the VPN is not running and is completely closed. I stopped it from the Windows administrator, however, afterwards the program did not start me, so I had to go back to the previous configuration.

Personally, ProtonVPN is a prime software in the industry, when it comes to team usage and security. The software enables users to establish a connection on up to 10 devices simultaneously and supports many operating systems, so you can install it on almost every device, including routers. The VPN encrypts your data using AES-256 method with IKEv2/IPSec and OpenVPN protocols, which are the most reliable. The company headquarters in Switzerland, where privacy is prior, so they have a strict no-log policy. Furthermore, ProtonVPN is equipped with many advanced security facilities such as Killswitch, SecureCore and Split Tunnelling, so it's highly customisable. Besides, their DNS leakage detector is reliable and successful prevents any leakages, as I tested it using various tools.

What do you dislike?

Users aren't provided with live customer support service, so it's quicker to receive any help on tech-forum than by their support department. Further, it doesn't ensure many server locations with high-speed connections.

What do you like best?

ProtonVPN is one of the best VPN softwares that i have used. It provides a simple interface with a bunch of secure VPN servers to choose from. We can easily change the server location with just a click and revert back with a click again. No additional plugins required and it supports password protection for most of its features. Creating profiles is an much easier way to store and customize your configurations. It provides a best interface which showcases the data statistics and leverage the network bandwidth to the most extent. The quick connect feature is a fast and easy way to connect with out much hassle of changing profiles every now and then.

What do you dislike?

I don't think that there any big flaws in it, it looks good to me in every aspect from user interface to user friendly features.

Give it a try before you try any other tools, some of its features are free and the paid version much more feature rich and fast. I completely recommend it to all users.

We have used it to change server locations to test the latency of out automation projects during execution. We even tried other popular VPN tools in the market but the results are inconsistent and finally we gave this a try and to our our surprise it served us a lot better and even the results are accurate.
