I like many aspects of Piwik PRO, such as its powerful data analysis capabilities, high privacy protection, and convenient user experience. It can obtain more than 70% of the data through traditional methods, and the accuracy of this data is very high. By collecting and anonymously processing session-level data, I can gain deep insights into user behavior details on advertising pages. Piwik PRO provides multifaceted assistance in advertising effectiveness evaluation, such as precise data tracking and analysis, real-time reporting and insights, allowing for a clear understanding of the effectiveness of different marketing channels, thereby enabling reasonable budget allocation. Additionally, it simplifies tag management and supports data collection via server-side to ensure data privacy compliance. The initial setup of Piwik PRO is also relatively easy.

The pricing of Piwik PRO is relatively high, especially for small advertising agencies or startups with limited budgets, which creates significant cost pressure. When selecting a feature package, businesses may find that some essential features are only included in the premium packages, forcing them to pay higher fees to access the full functionality. This, to some extent, limits its promotion in the small and medium-sized enterprise market.

I use Piwik PRO to implement precise data tracking, multi-dimensional attribution analysis, and real-time reporting to help solve the challenges of evaluating advertising effectiveness. At the same time, it ensures data privacy compliance, provides insights into user behavior, and optimizes tag management, aiding in the customization and optimization of advertising.

I took a look at the many options, did some actual testing, and chose Piwik Pro because:

I'm hoping for even more tools in their suite moving forward. Such as A/B-testing or built in survey tool.

Currently, Piwik PRO is my favourite tool for web analytics to replace Google Analytics. It is easy to use and understand, marketers don't necessarily need analysts' help for everything. In addition, it provides tools for consent management and tag management in the same software.

Piwik PRO is still very web oriented -- I probably wouldn't choose it as analytics tools for a mobile app or product analytics of a SaaS tool. It certainly can be used for those purposes, but some other tool might be better.

UI feels dated but it's not an issue, to be honest, it's old but quite clean.

I need a much more simple dashboard in the beginning. I always build one myself for my clients.

Tracking cross domain is not working and I can't get any support solving the issues. That needs to be fixed ASAP.
