It not only helps organize every phase of production from pre-production planning to post-production, but also keeps the entire process structured and efficient. The ability to visualize timelines, boards, track tasks, and collaborate seamlessly makes managing project much easier.Being able to name and customize different work package types is also pretty helpful for video projects.

I think the search section could be improved

I appreciate being able to create accurate timelines for my projects and manage different tasks all from one central location.

It is easy to use project management tool and frequently used in our system.

It is free of cost hance can be easily implemented.

Due to its simplicity of code it is integrated easily.

As it is open souce, it has large community of customer support.

The vast feature set across traditional and agile methodologies allows any project management approach. OpenProject is super intuitive to use, there is a great online documentation (and personal support) but it is not really needed. I love that you can do everything in OpenProject and don't need any other tool. Even emails are not necessary because you are communicating in OpenProject, that really helps to streamline communication. We have increased our productivity because all information is in one space and you don't lose time going through different systems looking for the latest information.

For me, data security was a big factor as we have a lot of confidential data being processed and OpenProject offers secure hosting (if you use the cloud version, otherwise on-premises is of course even better) and they don't share your data.

I can't really say anything negative, love the tool and its ease of use.

OpenProject allows me to have all project relevant data in one space. I can collaborate with my team members easily remotely and we have achieved an increase in productivity by implementing OpenProject. On top, it was crucial for me to keep the confidential data that we are processing when managing our projects, secure and this is one of OpenProject's strengths.

OpenProject helps us keep our communication efficient which, of course, increases capacity of the business.

Sometimes, new features can be slow to release. But, the core platform is very comprehensive.

Clean project management overall. It's really helping us financially too by making smarter decisions.

It is an excellent tool if you want to manage projects, anyone can use it whether it uses Windows, Mac or Linux, it has a very good reach to the user because it is multiplatform!.

What I like the most is that it allows me to observe the status of my projects using Gantt diagrams, which shows in a more graphic way the progress I have had during the time that has elapsed to a project to which I currently belong in my work. In a few words, it offers me everything necessary to be able to plan a project with guarantees.

Besides being able to plan your projects in a very efficient way, it has certain characteristics that help you to take a better management of the project, for example with the gantt chart you can observe what is the status of the project, tasks that are overlapping and the whole context of the development times of the same, this feature is very good because it allows you to know the actual scope of your goals and your deliverables, also when generating tasks by teams of work you can keep an exact track of what is being developed and this allows you to include Agile and Scrum methodologies in your projects, in addition to providing your client based on this, reports of development times, costs, and even doing bug tracking within the application. In short, it is a very complete tool for project management.

As far as I've been able to work on this tool is only available for Linux environments I have not been able to work with it under the windows environment, it is true that the vast majority of development teams use linux environment but I think there should be a version available for windows 10 natively. I think the option to be able to handle it is the option in Cloud.

Most of the development projects that fail within the IT Software Factory industry are because they lack tools of this type for the management of projects and work teams, particularly I think that open project is a solution to this issue, since It allows you to really measure the scope of the project in all important statistics, tasks, development teams, costs, development times, resources, you can even identify if some tasks that you set out at the beginning are necessary as you thought. Particularly this type of tools allow you to assess these points very precisely, in addition you can give a report or much more complete report to the client, based on the project management a bit more advanced and correct. My general recommendation is that they try the trial of 14 days that they offer as proof and if it is to your liking that I am sure that it will be acquired some of the available plans to make the update to the business plan.

I have been able to take a more orderly project management, which has resulted in reduced development times and project costs, in addition to being able to show the client all the processes in a much more efficient and orderly manner, and I have been able to incorporate methodologies development as Agile and Scrum that have also allowed me to be able to take better management of the development team in virtue of taking better advantage of the development team.

It is the best organization and support tool through all stages of the project starting from the inception of the project to completion. I like scheduling everything and this works great for me. Also it is easy to collaborate with people and teams. The user interface is also very intuitive.

I generally have problems printing things from the software. Print to PDF does not work.

Its good for team projects.

The visualization and ability to modify cards, tasks, etc. are the best quality points of OpenProject. Some features are easy to use and it serves various management environments, especially, and not just software development. My team uses it daily and it has shown results due to the increased control of each active project and the tracking of those in the backlog.

Its initial setup is laborious, requiring a lot of attention and dedication to tailor it to your project.

OpenProject ensures that my team and I have a broad understanding of the projects that are in operation, and with the configuration that was carried out, we can divide work topics into categories that align with our roles and projects.
