It has helped manage an accurate equity register and given access to all stakeholders: both active and ex-employees to view their grants Flexible, Customizable Ledgy Backed by Excellent Support
What do you like best about Ledgy?Having managed multiple portals like Carta and Shareworks in the past, what I like best about Ledgy is its flexibility, the ability to customize it to meet client requirements, and the customer support, both from the AI agent and the customer success manager. What do you dislike about Ledgy?Nothing much overall. However, we have had challenges integrating with our Oracle HRIS, although that is also due to how our data is set up. They only integrate via APIs, and there is no way to manipulate or clean up the data before syncing with Ledgy. What problems is Ledgy solving and how is that benefiting you?It has helped us massively by being able to migrate from Shareworks seamlessly.

Excellent Customer Service and Critical Equity Automation
What do you like best about Ledgy? The customer service has been very good. Our equity platform has been managed manually for the past ten years but with over 400 employee equity holders, automation was critical. As a recently hired equity plan administrator, Chris assisted significantly in the implementation and sharing best practices with other companies of our size and complexity. What do you dislike about Ledgy?I was disappointed to discover that we were not able to map our previously executed legal documents with more automation. What problems is Ledgy solving and how is that benefiting you?Reconciling the cap table, allowing central access to permitted users, equity holders can easily check their equity, streamlined reporting.

Easy to Use, Evolving Platform with Excellent Customer Success Support
What do you like best about Ledgy? It’s easy to use for both end users and back-end users. For admin users, it’s straightforward to manage through the UI, and it also offers the right batch upload features while integrating well with our HR tool. The platform has continued to develop over the past two years we’ve been using it. The customer success team has been excellent, supporting us on everything from minor administrative matters (for example, login issues) through to help with more complex areas (for example, complex IFRS accounting)What do you dislike about Ledgy?Although the platform has continued to improve, it did lack certain features when we first started using it. Even now, the functionality is still restricted to their design (i.e., it cannot be customised), which has occasionally required us to compromise on our approach. That said, none of these limitations have been material, and they do not detract from my overall recommendation. What problems is Ledgy solving and how is that benefiting you?It has systemised what was previously a complicated, error-prone Excel model. As a result, we’ve been able to keep operating our share scheme, whereas we likely would have reached the limits of what we could manage in Excel otherwise.

All Equity Info in One Place—with Employee Dashboards and Automated Signatures
What do you like best about Ledgy?Ledgy makes equity management completely effortless. My favorite aspects include:
- Centralized equity hub: Brings all cap table data, documentation, and history together in one secure platform.
- Employee empowerment: Dedicated dashboards give employees full visibility into their equity and vesting schedules.
- Seamless automation: Automated signature workflows eliminate manual follow-ups and speed up the grant issuance process. What do you dislike about Ledgy? Not much to complain about here! It’s mostly just feature requests as we scale. In the past, making bulk updates to parameters across several transactions at once felt a bit manual. Expanded bulk-editing capabilities would be a great quality-of-life enhancement. What problems is Ledgy solving and how is that benefiting you?Ledgy addresses the complexity and friction typically associated with cap table management. It allows us to transition from manual, paper-heavy signature processes to fast, scalable digital workflows. It also eliminates the pain of complex equity reporting with clean, centralized data. Most importantly, it creates a transparent culture where employees can easily track and appreciate the value of their equity stake.

A smooth equity platform with a genuinely useful AI agent
What do you like best about Ledgy? What I like best about Ledgy is how easy the platform is to use day to day. Posting new grants and transferring holdings between shareholders is quick and simple, which saves us a lot of admin time compared to managing it manually. The offboarding workflow is another big plus. When someone leaves, it's straightforward to process their equity and make sure everything is handled correctly, which used to be one of the more time-consuming tasks. The recent addition of Ledgy Agent, the built-in AI agent, has made things even better. It's super easy to use and very efficient: you just describe what you need, such as drafting a transaction or offboarding a stakeholder, and it prepares it for you to review and approve before anything is executed. Everything is laid out clearly, so it's easy to find what you need and keep the cap table up to date without needing much support. What do you dislike about Ledgy?Honestly, there isn't much I dislike. The only limitation I've come across is that I haven't been able to set a valuation at a specific date of the year, which would be useful for reporting at particular points in time. Apart from that, the platform does everything we need it to.What problems is Ledgy solving and how is that benefiting you?Ledgy solves the problem of managing equity administration manually by bringing grants, transfers, and offboarding into one easy-to-use platform, and with Ledgy Agent handling tasks like drafting transactions for our approval, it saves us significant time and keeps our cap table accurate and up to date.

Ledgy Keeps Complex Equity Data in One Place - Intuitive and Shareholder-Friendly
What do you like best about Ledgy? What I like best about Ledgy is having everything in one place. We have a PE-style share structure with multiple share classes, so having a single source of truth for the equity data is really useful. It also gives shareholders a great experience, as they can easily access their documents, transaction history and share information in one place. What do you dislike about Ledgy? There isn’t anything significant that I dislike. As with any equity platform, there are some areas where you need to spend a little time understanding how certain features work, particularly with a more complex share structure, but overall the platform has been very intuitive. What problems is Ledgy solving and how is that benefiting you?Ledgy gives us one central place to manage our equity data, which is especially helpful with a PE-style structure and multiple share classes. It reduces the need to rely on separate records and documents, makes reporting and day-to-day administration easier, and gives shareholders much better visibility of their own information, documents and transaction history. Overall, it saves time and gives us a much clearer single source of truth.

Ledgy: Intuitive, User-Friendly, and Highly Customizable
What do you like best about Ledgy? What I like most about Ledgy is how easy and intuitive it is to use. The platform has a very user-friendly interface, while still offering a high level of customization to adapt to different needs and equity management processes. What do you dislike about Ledgy?Honestly, there is very little I dislike about Ledgy. The platform is highly flexible and customizable, which makes it easy to adapt to different processes and needs. If I had to point out one area for improvement, it would be the synchronization of custom fields across different views, such as the Stakeholder and Transactions screens. Ideally, changes made to a custom field in one place would automatically be reflected in the other. What problems is Ledgy solving and how is that benefiting you?Ledgy helps us make equity management more automated, reducing the need for manual spreadsheets. It keeps all the equity information in one place and makes our day-to-day processes easier and more organized.

Ledgy’s Self-Service Custom Fields Enable Fast, Client-Specific Reporting
What do you like best about Ledgy?Ledgy empowers users to tailor the platform to their clients' needs through its self-service custom fields capability. Rather than relying on development resources for every new requirement, users can create bespoke fields themselves and incorporate them directly into reporting. This enables greater agility, reduces development overhead, and allows teams to build client-specific reports quickly and efficiently. What do you dislike about Ledgy?Ledgy's current design meets our requirements well, and during the migration phase there have been no major aspects of the platform that I would consider a drawback. The system is intuitive, flexible, and supports many of the operational needs of both administrators and clients.Recommendations to others considering Ledgy? What problems is Ledgy solving and how is that benefiting you? There are, however, a few items on the wishlist that could further enhance the user experience. One example relates to the Stakeholder Custom Fields functionality within the Data Management section. Currently, these fields are limited to free-text input, whereas Transaction Custom Fields support predefined selection options.

Intuitive Equity Administration
What do you like best about Ledgy? The platform is extremely intuitive, so minimal training is needed to get up and running. It makes equity administration much easier because you can customize workflows to handle employee offboarding and automatically generate option exercise documents. It also pulls data through an HRIS integration, which reduces manual data entry. Online data management is highly customizable as well, so you can quickly adjust how tables are displayed in the platform without having to download an Excel file and manipulate it manually. What do you dislike about Ledgy? One feature that would be really useful is the ability to submit a valuation request online directly through the platform. At the moment, Ledgy works with an external valuation firm instead of handling valuation requests within the platform itself. What problems is Ledgy solving and how is that benefiting you?Option grants used to be handled very manually, which took a lot of time. Ledgy has reduced a lot of the back-and-forth over email and saved us significant manual effort. It has also made the process easier for employees, since the platform is so intuitive to use.
