Very intuitive and helpful features that mean it is possible for small companies to complete most accounting tasks in house. When it is time to share with a qualified accountant, it is concise and easy to share relevant information.

It isn't immediately obvious when the connection with the bank account requires re-confirming, which means sometimes the bank account balance is not correct, although this is minor.

As a small business I do not want the overhead of paying an accountant every month. Freeagent gives me the tools to do most bookkeeping myself easily, but is simple enough to get the books audited at the end of the year

I've used Xero and QuickBooks, but FreeAgent is superior, especially for freelancers/consultants. It just makes sense. Easy to use, intuitive, and super fast, and they even send you tips to make sure you're on top of everything.

Wish it would integrate with American Express credit cards.

Saves me a considerable amount of time on accounting, and the easy-to-use UI means I can find transactions and receipts quickly without issue. A great piece of software that I can't live without.

FreeAgent keeps all my accounting and bookkeeping records in one easy accessible place. I use it to maintain invoices, debtors, bills, vat, estimates, bank transactions and profit and loss. I like the cash flow forecasting and the dashboard overview of my business's accounts. I would recommend it to any small business It also has a discount for referring a friend. It is also not an expensive subscription fee. The interface is neat and easy to use

There is not much I don't like about FreeAgent. It would be nice to be able to split invoices for when a client pays a deposit and then another payment later. In the dashboard area -it would be nice to see a year-on-year comparison summary on the cash flow. I don't use the time tracking facility but use all the other functionality

I would recommend Free Agent to any small business owner who is looking for software to maintain their invoices, quotes, bank transactions, bills and expenses.

It makes the mundaneness of admin and accounting much easier so I can focus on running my business. It helps keep track of debtors with reminders so can be on top of outstanding monies. and also recurring invoices save me time when it comes to invoicing each month

TAX calculation - invoicing, automatic emailing to customers, adding customers, and auto invoicing them, managing expenses.

The fact that I can't close an invoice unpaid directly and I need to create some credit notes and I can't manage it on freelancer / company account at all

FreeAgent has a really useful homepage that provides and overview of all the key metrics you need to track your company's finances.

While the FreeAgent app for mobile devices is very good it does sometimes have problems accessing the camera on a phone and this causes the app to crash - for example when taking a picture of a receipt.

This is a really powerful and reasonably priced financial management, effort tracking and billing tool

FreeAgent allows me to track bills, invoices, bank balances, employee effort. It's a one stop shop for everything I need.
