Excellent Product!

What do you like best about Descartes MacroPoint?

We appreciate the automation and peace of mind that Macropoint provides us. It eliminates the hassle and worry of tracking carriers. We use this daily in our operation and strive to drive our compliance number. Integration and implemenation was very quick and easy. Customer Support is unmatched with detailed business reviews.

What do you dislike about Descartes MacroPoint?

None that come to mind - I know sometimes carriers push back on having to use it but if a carrier isn't willing to accept GPS tracking, it's probably not a carrier we want hauling our freight anyways.

What problems is Descartes MacroPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?

Macropoint frees up our brokers from the manual labors of tracking and tracking to allow them to focus on higher-value tasks. It provided the visibility our customers require.

What do you like best about Descartes MacroPoint?

I appreciate how easy it is to use. Whether you are just plugging in the tractor and trailer number to track ELD or having the driver accept via SMS on their smartphone, tracking has never been easier. All the features are great, we are able to create rules to do anything you want and the staff has been very helpful.

What do you dislike about Descartes MacroPoint?

I haven't had any downsides; we have been able to do everything we have wanted with the platform.

Peace of mind! That's Descartes MacroPoint

What do you like best about Descartes MacroPoint?

Descartes MacroPoint is a great tool to track and trace the loads. It gives peace of mind knowing where the truck is located to determine if the load will be picked up on time and delivered on time, making your job easy and reliable. Works perfectly with our TMS and offers great support if needed. We use it every day to track our loads and guarantee excellent service levels.

What do you dislike about Descartes MacroPoint?

The only thing I would say is that the pings are made every 15 minutes. I would love to be able to get those pings every 5 minutes. But that's not a big deal.

We can offer our customers a reliable service, making sure the load is picked up on time and delivered on time.

Macropoint has helped reduce freight disruptions by helping to identify early any potential problems through real time freight checks.

What do you dislike about Descartes MacroPoint?

Initial setup of the tool is the only gripe I have with Macropoint.

What problems is Descartes MacroPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?

I was able to handle my shipments better with Macropint as this helped me to reduce any unwanted hiccups during the load. Before macropoint, I was unable to get any proper updates regarding the load. This has now been reduced with Macropoint.

Real Time tracking of shipments has been very helpful as it allows us to monitor load progress and take actions on issues early on.

What do you dislike about Descartes MacroPoint?

High cost of acquisition makes it very hard on the pocket.

What problems is Descartes MacroPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before macropoint tracking we had a significant amount of trouble keeping track of the shipments as we had to call out to the carriers in transit. Macropoint has enabled us with real time tracking of our shipments without being a hassle to our carriers. It also helps us to monitor any issues in a timely manner.
