Our Company is making color masterbatches for the Synthetic Fibres Industry and we cannot operate with the standard BoM system because we have several recipes for the same color.
We have a complex system using official financial ERP software, Excel for the recipe calculation and a PHP front-end based on a MySQL database. Our need was to make the communication among these as much automatic and error-free as possible. Add to this that we are based in Italy, and the localisation makes the usage of. csv files a nightmare.
After trying unsuccessfully other software, finally, DbForge for MySQL brilliantly resolved all our problems. Among other useful features, what was key for us is:
• The straightforward and flawless two ways communication with Excel: we can finally stop worrying about decimal separators and misrepresentation of zero and blank cells,
• The quick and easy way to automate via command line the export/import from one database to another,
• The ability to handle huge files providing very useful tools (SQL Editor, Query Builder, Script, Pivot)
After months of research and testing, we can confidently attest that none of the competitors offers the same capabilities and tools at a similar convenient price.
Lastly, communication with Devart people is easy and fast: they are very collaborative and helpful.
Good software. Good Developers. Absolutely recommended.

We did not find anything that we did not like.
The major problem was the communication among different databases and Excel and the automatization of the process. Thanks to dbForge we made a significant saving of the operator time and avoided all the error involved in the manual conversion of files.
We've been fighting with some MYSQL functions across many desktop solutions until we found dbForge Studio for MySQL. The import data tool is the best we have seen online. It is a great tool! Buy it!
It takes some time to find everything on its GUI but no more than a couple of hours using the soft.
Data import for MySQL tables
dbForge is great for testing queries, managing data, and all DB admin tasks related to DevOps.
It can be slow to start at times. But the overall performance is great.
dbForge brings MySQL management to my desktop. I am able to connect to different servers and databases to manage them all in one place.
Makes designing and maintaining a database much easier
Lack of support for designing queries with unions (can still do them manually)
Synchronisation across multiple customer databases
I like the clean, understandable interface
Nothing! Every day I discover something cool about the software.
I have a large number (200 plus) databases that I manage and find DBForge an invaluable tool in my arenal.
it's fast, flexible and easy to use. For maintaining an existing database, it is excellent.
I'm less keen on the schema maintenance. For this part of administration, I tend to use other tools, although it is certainly possible to do everything inside of dbForge and I fully expect this part of the system to improve as it is much more convenient to do everything with a one-stop shop than to constantly switch.
I'm solving the bulk of administration issues through dbForge, and have done for many years now, as it's extremely effective. I get a lot more done through it than I do through a lot of the database-supplied tools.
It is very user friendly interface which is better than MYSQL
No dislikes. Everything is best-in-class from my point of view
Monitoring the SQL databases. Reports problem if SQL procedures are not completed
The auto complete, intellisense
A clean modern design

Data change tracking tracking is another features I'd love to see.
occasional crashes
I've tried a bunch and they vary from ok to "get it off my PC before it sticks the place up"
I work with MySQL daily and it improves my productivity greatly.

I was using SSMS with MsSql for more than decade so am familiar with it's layout. It's seamless to switch from it to dbForge Studio. But I found dbForge Studio to be more feature-rich, more intuitive and overall it feels to me like more mature product
The buggest con of dbForge was absence of monthly subscription, but that is now resolved
Writing queries is really easy. CopyDb feature is handy in some scenarios and different rendering options for the output gives me easier look into data that I fetched
