Easy searching for info that I need. it is pretty accuarte most of the time.

What do you dislike about Crunchbase?

Phone numbers and emails are not always valid but who answers their phone anymore? With a contact name I can look into LinkedIn and contact them.

What problems is Crunchbase solving and how is that benefiting you?

Dealing with accounts and prospects from around thew world, it is difficult to find the right decision maker so it helps me with my prospecting. You also get a great idea of the size of the company so you know the potential it means for our company.

That said, I don't like the new update.

What do you like best about Crunchbase?

The availability of factual data. It's good to see funding rounds, short intros and etc., most are more reliable than that of Pitchbook.

What do you dislike about Crunchbase?

The new AI feature and the post-update website layout. I feel like not the most relevant information is a the top, and I need to click stuff several times to open what I want to see when the information is very basic.

What problems is Crunchbase solving and how is that benefiting you?

Without Crunchbase you cannot access funding information of companies. Using the portal I can see the funding activity which is essential for my job as an early stage VC. I think I wouldn't be able to do my job without Crunchbase.

also the statistics view is very helful for market analysisi the info about some companies is not always complete and the graph...

The search tool powered by AI and how easy is it to import a list of comapnies and getting the results i want and the columns i want.

Indicators about growht are also useful Super helpful to gather all the insights around startups and rounds

All the information is consolidated. You get info about past fundraisers and about the team. Use it several times a day

It could be easier to watch. It is great once you know where to get but if not, it might be a bit unstructured.
