The Brief is a Great Banner Ad Tool

We've used The Brief (Creatopy) for 4 years now, and it's an invaluable tool for creating our clients' animated banners. The process of creating and editing across multiple sizes simultaneously is very user-friendly, and staff is always eager to troubleshoot any formatting or display issues via chat.

What do you like best about Creatopy?

Ease of use is fantastic. I'm not a power user with creative products, and Creatopy makes it so easy to create ads and marketing materials for our startup.

What do you dislike about Creatopy?

PDF downloads could be a bit better, especially when downloading. It tends to download a file that is huge, in terms of pixels (not file size), but there's no option to change page size on download.

Also, PDFs are not editable after download. Each letter of text is in its own cell, so we can't use this for PDFs for clients who may need editing capabilities.

What problems is Creatopy solving and how is that benefiting you?

Making it super easy to create/edit ads, collaborate, and avoid hiring an expensive marketing agency.

Simple to use interface, cost effective, fast production turnaround.

Sometimes takes a long time to download finished product.

I used to use Flash because it was fast and easy to use. When it was discontinued, I was without a good, fast and easy-to-use tool. Creatopy filled the void.

"The Best Program Out There!"

What do you like best about Creatopy?

Creatopy allows more creativity and free range without the overly complicated stuff in other programs. I can make advanced animated ads very quickly. I love the content bank where I can pull videos and images, and that I can save my preset brands. Perfect for my needs!

What do you dislike about Creatopy?

I'm used to some of the more advanced abilities in other programs, so I miss some of those, but Creatopy has started adding that stuff in, like blend modes and other transitions. I also wish we could have multiple users for the price.

What problems is Creatopy solving and how is that benefiting you?

Blend modes were a huge add, those allow me to mimic my brands in Creatopy without exporting assets from another program. I also love the new transition modes that are being added, would love even more, and ones that are more "action" movements. So instead of a transition, where the assets disappears, it can just move to a different location and stay on screen.
