Cognito Forms has helped streamline many processes for my teams, and it has allowed us to consolidate several complex and challenging workstreams across multiple teams into centralized, easy-to-navigate forms.

I would like to see the ability to have specific uploaded documents be broken out and sent to specific parties designated within the form, rather than all documents uploaded being sent to each designated party.

Cognito Forms has helped streamline complex workflows into one centralized document that helps transmit important information to numerous teams. The ability to then check off form entries as complete is also a great method for tracking completion of tasks.

I really like the ease of use of Cognito Forms. It's very intuitive and we've been using it for several years now. I appreciate the upgrades and the communication when they're available. Being able to extract data into different forms is a feature I like. I enjoy how it helps us efficiently manage tasks among several users, preventing duplication of work among super admins, and ensuring swift replies to customers. The ability to customize it to meet specific needs within our organization has been especially valuable. The different options like yes-no questions, mandatory fields, radio buttons, and fun built-in options add a lot to its utility. Overall, Cognito has many features that we've truly enjoyed using.

I think Cognito Forms could be improved by adding more graphic elements. When comparing it to Google Forms, I notice that Google Forms lets you use more header graphics to make things look a bit jazzier. It would be nice if Cognito Forms had more options to personalize forms with graphics, which would help make them more brand-specific and polished for a project or organization. I'd like to see features like header space for uploading graphics or having specific dimension guidelines for graphics. Even generic graphics like celebrations or accounting themes would be a nice addition, letting us align forms more closely with our own branding.

Cognito Forms helps us allocate tasks among admins, manage responses efficiently, and engage users through customizable forms, enhancing our workflow without duplicating efforts across our team.

I've used it for more than a decade and I love its flexibility and UX most. I've repurposed it many time to fit my business case.

Slow sorting speeds with large data sets.

It has given me an inexpensive solution for implementing form based rules to our client base.

The simplicity. I am able to get the feedback / information and more that I need in a way that's easy for everyone, it's organized and we can build API connections to have this information shared to other programs we use, I absolutely love Cognito!

The only downside is how often I need to re-authenticate, however, I understand that we do this in order to maintain customer/ patient privacy so it just is what it is.

Organization /

I love that I can export the responses easily. I like that I can make some fields mandatory so that I can ensure I get the info I need. I use Cognito almost daily as the Event Planner at our school. I use the QR codes for every single form and make posters to make it easy on our families.

I dislike that people can accidentally sign up more than once. I wish there was a "Stop! You filled this out previously" option. I have to go through and delete the double entries.

I get full sign ups, with the information needed to plan events.

Forms are easy to create and they allow me to store information in a database. It’s also easy to export that information into Excel spreadsheets.

There’s no autosave. I’ve completed entire forms, then accidentally closed or navigated away without saving and ended up losing all my work.

Searchable database. Saves me time trying to find entries.

I find Cognito Forms valuable because it keeps everything secure in one place and has a simple interface that's easy for my clients to use. The AI generation really speeds up form creation for me. I appreciate being able to use the form links everywhere—in my marketing materials, on my website, and even on digital cards. It provides seamless access for clients to submit their details directly to my office. Plus, I love the upgrades in functionality that have been made over the years.

All of our forms and tasks are in one place. The clients can see everything and my staff has access to everything. No more looking for emails in other platforms or spreadsheets.

The e-sign option could be better. I would like the ability to lock views on forms so my staff can't override the settings accidentally.

Cognito Forms has saved my staff hours of work and made managing client information much easier. The recent addition of the client portal and reminder emails has been especially helpful. We used to spend so much time following up with clients about missing information and documents. Now, clients can see what’s outstanding, and automated reminders help keep things moving. These features have reduced manual follow-up and given our team more time to focus on serving our clients.

I like that Cognito Forms is feature-rich and very easy to use. It's straightforward to create new forms, which is a big plus. I'm also really glad Cognito Forms offers an API as it allows us to integrate and automate processes more effectively. The ease of the initial setup was also appreciated as it was pretty straightforward.

Add more integrations with other software

The customer and IT support with Cognito is unparalleled—I’ve consistently been impressed with their response time. I also appreciate that the company keeps features up to date, current, and accessible. Other important features are: the forms save our staff time and enable us to perform our jobs better. The forms are powerful and process information quickly, and they track data very well. Cognito is in a perfect price point for organizations, especially non-profit.

I feel the only downside is that there isn’t an integrated version history feature. It would be helpful to access the form in its previous versions in case we missed something or need to refer back to an earlier draft.

It helps solve issues related to efficiency, data collection, and tracking and analytics.
