The individual customer support offered allows us to continually advance and enhance our programs. The Chronus Team works with us consistently to address our needs.
There are a few tools that could be improved for our needs, and due to the time we've used Chronus, there are new elements we may not be taking full advantage of. Chronus is currently working with us to accomplish these goals.
Chronus offers an established platform to manage mentoring relationships with ease and innovation.
The Chronus team is currently assisting us on a full revamp to improve our programs and streamline all our programs for our changing needs. They continually implement new operations and tools.
The Chronus platform is nimble and accessible to organizations of all sizes. As a small, legal organization, we have been able to create a tailored mentoring experience for our users with ease of use for them and for us as administrators. Chronus has the best of both worlds: ready to plug and play out of the box and tailored to meet the needs of any mentoring program.
Staff turnover at Chronus has been a bit of an issue lately but likely a result of the COVID reshuffle.
Chronus provides our small office with a back-end, administrative tool that allows us to operate and manage our program without the need to hire additional staff.

Great opportunity to streamline your processes
Chronus provides an automated, streamlined process for administrative features of our Mentoring Program. Prior to the Chronus partnership staff was manually matching mentor connections. The software allows an automated process to create mentoring connections.
Chronus is an easy-to-use and intuitive platform that requires minimal training for users. I was impressed by the reports that provide meaningful data for better decision-making.
I hope the mentors will be able to view the matching % soon. Now only mentees can view the %.
Chronus provides a structure and guidelines for mentoring relationships. It helps us leverage employees' experience to develop others, solve talent issues, drive diversity & inclusion and enhance employee engagement.
The Dashboard and Bulk Matching features were used quite frequently, and the beauty of the platform is that it is highly customizable for an ERG to launch a program of any size.
It is an undertaking to initiate and customize to the program design criteria.
The Chronus platform provides a great landscape to initiate, match and manage a mentorship program with great visibility. Once underway, it allows the mentors and mentees to document their goals and progress.
The first steps will be just to understand the Chronus platform, and I would say that building the program falls into categories
PREP
• Platform features and navigation
• Timeline and reach
• Consider the anticipated population - - do you think you will have a 1:1 ratio for mentees/mentors, there are default settings for mentor capacity.
• Questions - - the answers to the questioned posed to the population is the key driver in the match, so considered those. We also added an About me section and the data there helped with our matches.
• We chose a hybrid matching, where Chronus would suggest the % match, but as an admin, review the suggestions and we selected that final match. It was often what Chronus suggested; others were overridden based on other info provided.
MATCH
• There are views and ways to bulk match, and you can also queue up a match before you officially publish a match
• You also have to balance the requested mentors (if you are offering that) against what % match is that Chronus is suggesting
• You can review all before you publish and can download to excel
• There are a lot of Chronus driven communications that we selected, and we worked as a team on the wording and timing, and settings
• Not sure if this will impact you, but you may also want to consider location/time zones when matching
REVIEW
• Chronus does provide several views to see the status of enrollment, match, and tools to offer
• Once the matching is completed, you can get post-activity stats to assess your population’s engagement
• Your members can also use Chronus to review and chronicle their progress with their partners.
• We hosted pre-calls to explain the program and how the tool works and suggest check-in meetings periodically
There is a big responsibility in overseeing the matching because you want every match to be meaningful.
Managing a reach of over 1200 with over 250 participants, Chronus was highly effective in expanding our program to our growth goals. Management is easy now that it is in place and can onboard new participants easily at any time.
I like that the team is responsive to our questions and requests.
Thus far, there is nothing we do not like
We are using Chronus to help our Christian brothers and sisters find like-minded mentors in their professional areas. We have seen positive responses from both our Mentors on Mentees on how easy the tool is to use and that it is helpful in in managing their mentoring engagement.
I love Chronus because of its ability to manage data from each individual employee. It tracks accurately, and employees have no trouble accessing information in or out.
Nothing I strongly dislike about the product, at least not enough to comment on it. It's overall a great tool.
Employee engagement, value in relationship creation, overall health inside the company. Because of this, more balanced productivity is the result.
I like how it is super easy to match with a mentor that has the same goal as you and can help you grow in areas that you need the most. There are varieties of mentors on eMentorConnect and I am amazed at how everyone is super willing to help out. My mentor reached out to me to schedule meetings plenty of times. I felt like she actually cared about my well being and I also admire her a lot.
I hope that one day eMentorConnect can connect people in real life instead of limiting to virtually. This would allow us to meet more people with different interests.
Matching with a woman role model who has vital areas that you are looking to develop more in. I realized women in tech who may have been in the field for a few years/ ahead of me can always give me advice that I can rely on.
