Perfect to share files with teammates/clients
What do you like best about Box?I really like the uploading system! It's fast and efficient. My company use only Box to share files with each other and with the clients. And we can preview photos and videos, it's really cool. What do you dislike about Box?When I open Box on any web browser, I have to do the login every single time I enter the website. For example, I access the website on the morning, and if I need to access again on afternoon, I need to do the login again! So everyday I end up doing 5 or 6 logins. Box should memorize our access more time. What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?The files are there forever, they don't expire. And having the option to preview most of the files is really cool. We don't have to download files to see its content.

Intuitive UI Across Web, Mobile, and Desktop with Powerful Integrations
What do you like best about Box?Very intuitive UI on web and very capable on mobile apps too, no feature is lacking whether you are on web or mobile. Desktop client available makes it easy to sync and document, and the integrations with different solutions make a complete solution for cloud storage. What do you dislike about Box?The price compared to other solutions and the API is not as easy as Dropbox, for example. Their SSO configuration is also lacking in native integrations to legacy or hybrid solutions. No way to have custom data retention policies without impacting performance. What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?Easy cloud storage, easy administration of users with SSO integration, collaboration groups can be administered with levels of admin users. Collaboration tools very close to Office 365, so easy adoption.

Box Makes File Sharing and Collaboration Simple and Efficient
What do you like best about Box?So this one makes managing and sharing files in my day-to-day work easy. I can keep my documents organized in one place and quickly share them with teammates without having to send multiple email attachments back and forth. I also find the access controls and file version history helpful because they make it easier to manage documents and keep track of changes. Overall, Box makes document collaboration simpler and helps me stay organized and work more efficiently. What do you dislike about Box?One thing I find frustrating about Box is that managing a large number of files and folders can become time-consuming. Sometimes, finding a specific document requires navigating through several folders, and I would like the search and filtering options to make this process quicker. The interface can also feel a little cluttered when working with multiple files at once. Additionally, syncing larger files can occasionally take longer than expected. Improving file navigation and sync performance would make Box more convenient for everyday use. What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?Box helps solve the problem of managing business documents across different locations and keeping track of the latest versions. Instead of searching through email attachments or asking colleagues to resend files, I can access and share documents from one central place. It also makes collaboration easier by allowing team members to work with shared files and control who has access to them. This saves time, reduces confusion caused by outdated documents, and makes my day-to-day work more organized and efficient.

Enterprise-Grade Security and Compliance
What do you like best about Box?What I love most about Box is how seamlessly it handles enterprise-grade security and compliance without making it a nightmare for everyday collaboration. What do you dislike about Box?What I dislike most about Box is how sluggish the interface can feel when navigating deep folder structures or handling massive files. Uploading large video or design files often takes way longer than it should, and the web app can occasionally lag when moving between heavy directories. What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?In large organizations or sensitive projects, teams often end up scattering confidential files across local hard drives, vulnerable personal cloud accounts, or disconnected apps, making security audits and collaboration a nightmare. Box solves this by acting as a single, highly secure content layer for everything.

Secure Collaboration Made Easy, with One Extra Editing Step
What do you like best about Box?I use Box for collaborative work in my organization. It’s a really great way to organize and update files, and to collaborate and share them with other people. It helps us share updated files while maintaining data privacy regulations, and logging in with organization credentials is helpful when more people are involved. I like that I can edit files without needing to save because they autosave, and that I can assign roles to people who have access. The initial setup was pretty easy. What do you dislike about Box?Sometimes opening files in Google Docs feels like an extra step. It would be more convenient if I could edit them within the Box folder. What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?I use Box to solve collaboration problems: sharing updated files while maintaining data privacy regulations is tough, and Box lets us log in with organization credentials to access files, which is helpful when more people are involved.

It allows me to store individual files and synchronize them easily.

This is seamless and quite easy for accessing things remotely and from multiple devices within the team Box is great
What do you like best about Box?Box is really great for sharing our business items with the whole team, to any location. In our industry, things are currently in the process of being moved to online storage from paper files. Box has made it really easy to store, transfer, and track online processing of applications and data we need to use from multiple locations. In the past, when we used only paper files, if someone was in our second office, we would need to have something faxed to us, and the quality would be really low. Box has allowed us to store things and get access to them from any location, which has been really great! What do you dislike about Box?It sometimes takes a long time to load the website or i get notifications that certain folders cannot be opened in my notification center in windows even though i can access the folder.Recommendations to others considering Box?Depending how much information you need to share to other users in your company, i would recommend looking into adding more storage space to your box profile. What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?We use Box to store our documents, and to transfer things from one office to the next.

Still the one cloud sync solution I turn to
What do you like best about Box?I've been a BOX user since they came out with a BlackBerry promo. What's not to love? It does not steal my data, does not sell my info to thrid parties and provides me with secure servers to backup my critical (and useless) data. Plenty of space on the free plan for you to make sure your Documents and Pictures folders are fully backed up (unless you're a hoarder, of course). Desktop sync is easy to set up and quite reliable. There are apps for all the major platforms (R.I.P. Palm, BB and BB10 but they where there when those were not EOL'd). The paid plans are affordable and do offer quality of life features the free plan could use. What do you dislike about Box?BOX has a tendency of one sidely terminating support for software they deem outdated and pushing their vision of what a better sync solution is. I think offering different alternatives for different use cases is best. Does not stop me staying and having BOX as my main cloud sync platform. I still think an update on the pricing is in order. The $/TB is still locked to 2014.Recommendations to others considering Box?If you need a free backup and sync solution and 10GB is enough for you, go for it. If you need robust file sync, go for it. It's easier than getting GDrive to work on Windows that's for sure! What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?I no longer worry if any of my devices will go kaput because I know my critical data is safe and sound on BOX's servers and can easily be retrieved any time I want, on any device I need. Also instant backup and sync between devices I am logged on. Box allows me to backup, access and edit all my data. Securely. Privately.

Rock-Solid Version Control and Granular Permissions with Box
What do you like best about Box?For and end-user perspective, Box is extremely reliable when it comes to version control. There is no need to worry whether your changes have been updated or whether you're accidentally working on top of another colleague's version because of auto-locking and version history, Box Drive allows offline functionality that does not take up too much space on your computer. What do you dislike about Box?While talking about the administrator's experience, the detailed folder permission setting make it the best solution possible. it is extremely useful to have access settings at the sub-folder level (View vs. Preview vs. Edit). Besides, the Administrator's Console provides very clear user activity statistics, while setting up SSO and Active Directory support was easy and not headache-inducing like in case of some other enterprise-level software.Recommendations to others considering Box?The interface of the Web can be rather slow, especially when you attempt to drag or re-arrange huge batch folder at once - it may feel like you are doing clicks without any results. Moreover, the search indexing of the system is quite efficient, but in case you are searching for a very specific keyword located within a huge PDF document, there can be too many irrelevant matches pulled up from history before you get to the right file. Finally, from the admin point of view, the management of the external user;s licensing can become a real trouble to deal with. What problems is Box solving and how is that benefiting you?We got Box in order to solve our "silos of data" problem where various teams were jumping between local servers, individual cloud storages, and emailing files. This has solved the problem of our secure file sharing system, particularly for onboarding remotely.
